• Errors in geography: The image of the earth shown at the beginning of the movie is reversed.
  
  
• Revealing mistakes: When Curtis shoots the ice cream truck, a human driver can briefly be seen at the wheel.
  
  
• Continuity: At the kids baseball game, a steamroller bursts onto the field and the steering wheel falls off. Seconds later, as the machine is running over one of the players, the steering wheel is back on.
  
  

• Crew or equipment visible: When the trucks start to go wild at the Dixie Boy as a gang, the camera and crew are momentarily reflected by the red car.
  
  
• Continuity: When Duncan is killed by the Truck there is blood all over the front grill and bumper. Later you see the Truck and there is no blood.
  
  
• Continuity: When the main Truck backs up, knocking the Bible Salesman into a ditch there is no blood. But as the Truck is pulling away there is blood all over the back of the trailer.

• Revealing mistakes: When the cans of pop started hitting the kids and they start running away, a can hits #7 (right side of the screen) and it takes him some time before he grabs his head and falls dead.

• Continuity: When the M-60 is pulling up to the Dixie Boy, the horn is different to when it is giving the message in Morse code.

• Continuity: When Duncan goes to get his son, his eyes are puffy from gasoline but there's no blood. Joe grabs his arms and we get a close-up shot of Duncan's face and there's blood all over his face. Then they cut back to longer shots and the blood disappears.
  
  
• Continuity: When the bridge starts going up on its own, it's fairly high. Then we cut to a shot of a truck in the middle and the level of the bridge has dropped considerably - it's almost level. Then we cut back to longs shots and the bridge is at its original higher elevation.
  
  
• Revealing mistakes: When the old red Mack truck flies off the road flames appear underneath it before impact.
  
  
• Crew or equipment visible: When the camera is in front of the Goblin truck, you can see the reflection of the camera car in the shiny bumper.
  
  
• Continuity: During the action that precedes the truck striking the Bible salesman and sending him flying, we see footage of him running away from the vehicle. When the two actually collide, it appears as though the Bible salesman is running into the truck, rather than the truck striking him from behind.
  
  
• Factual errors: You do not reload the M72 anti-tank grenade launcher. It is a one-time-only weapon designed to be tossed away after use.
  
  
• Continuity: When the brown truck starts and a shot first shows the interior, it is the interior of the Mack that later attacks the couple on the highway. Another shot of the brown truck's interior shows it is clearly not the Mack, meaning that it was just repeated footage.
  
  
• Continuity: In one scene, the bulldozer at the Dixie Boy Gas station is blown up and immobilized. At the end of the movie, it's back up and running, destroying the gas station and a car without any problems.
