(1986) The original feature film spin-off of the animated adventure show about giant robots that transform into all sorts of funky mechanical contraptions is cheaply animated eighties kitsch with a guest voice cast (including Eric Idle, Judd Nelson, Leonard Nimoy, Robert Stack, Lionel Stander, and Orson Welles as a voracious planet) joining the familiar voices of the TV show and a score that knocks off Journey and features a Weird Al Yankovic song. The 2-disc features both the theatrical widescreen and full screen editions, each on a separate disc.
