A strange, ringing tinnitus sound in the subway. A man, his shirt and face spattered profusely with blood, shambles in catatonic stupor up the stairs. Another man, blood gouting from a wound in his brow, staggers down the stairs. These men have something in common, but because of that very something, they do not notice each other.

Jules Feiffer, cartoonist, playwright, author and illustrator, is so multi-talented and so refined and brilliant in each of his talents that it's perversely easy to underrate him. For instance, as screenwriter of Mike Nichols' film Carnal Knowledge and Robert Altman's film Popeye, his work brackets the celebrated New Hollywood cinema of the 1970s. Add to that one screenplay for Alain Resnais (I Want to Go Home, 1989) and 1971's disturbing family comedy Little Murders, directed by Alan Arkin, and Feiffer's contribution to cinema becomes a small but vital one.

Project Runway: Irina Shabayeva Talks Victory, Attitude and the Future

Project Runway has wrapped up another season and named another winner, so it's time for the obligatory check-up on her.  Irina Shabayeva may not have been popular with audiences because of her attitude, but she certainly got the attention of the judges.  On an interview with the Los Angeles Times, the designer discussed her experiences and plans, as well as the portrayal of her Mean-a Irina persona.

Determined and straightforward as ever, Irina explained the aura of this season of the show.  "It's a competition," she said.  "Everyone came to win and no one came with the thought, "I want to go home.""

“Everybody’s curious,” says Rumer Wills, actress in this Friday’s Sorority Row, when talking about her family. Though she may be the daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, the focus may soon rest solely on her, as the 21-year-old thespian is slowly making a name that is all her own. She made her onscreen debut in 1995 in her mother’s film Now and Then, but really felt the spotlight in 2008’s The House Bunny, where she played a lovable member of a defunct sorority.

Her newest film is Sorority Row, a slasher flick led by a bunch of women who span from Step Up 2: The Street’s Briana Evigan to Dragonball Evolution’s Jamie Chung, to Ms. Willis herself.

Dance Your Ass Off with Ruben and Lisa Ann Walter!

Oxygen's Dance Your Ass Off ended its first season run with a huge finish Monday night, becoming the most watched freshmen series in the network's history. Ruben, a 43-year-old wardrobe designer from Las Vegas, was crowned the winner of Dance Your Ass Off with a total weight loss of 74 pounds over the course of the season. But it doesn't stop there. Fans can see Ruben again when he and the rest of the cast return during the Dance Your Ass Off Reunion special premiering Monday, September 7th at 10pm Et/Pt.
