Scott is a fashion photographer concerned about the sudden appearance of nightmares in his nightly dreams. In these, he seems to be involved in the murder of a beautiful young woman. When he actually meets this dreamwoman in reality, he begins to suspect that something strange must be responsible. As he attempts to solve the enigma of his troubling dreams, he is falling deeply in love with the mysterious woman. In the end, he uncovers a diabolical and sinister plot.... Written by

During the scene at an outdoor resident where she meets Scott for the first time, Kimberly's mother Clara (Tippi Hedren) becomes suddenly uneasy over the squealing of birds nearby, prompting Kimberly to comfort her and explain to Scott "It's all right, Mother - it's only birds. Mother has this thing about birds," an obvious reference to Tippi's iconic role of Melanie in Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963), her most famous film. See more
