• Boom mic visible: In the beginning of the movie, when Mary Carr gets Christy Brown into the library, the shadow of the boom mic can clearly be seen on a white door.
  
  
• Continuity: Christy's position on the stairs changes between cuts when he is going downstairs after his mother's fall.
  
  
• Continuity: When Mrs. Brown is carrying Christy up the stairs she is carrying two of Christy's shoes in her hand but when he goes down the stairs after his mother falls down he has one shoe on again.
