American actor Will Smith credits Charlize Theron with making him a better comic actor.
The star made his name as a joker in hit TV series The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air, and has appeared in comedies including Hitch and Men In Black, but insists working alongside the Academy Award winner on new big screen comedy Hancock helped change his approach to humour.
He says, "When you're sitting across from an Academy Award-winning actress it pulls you back into the sweet spot for the comedy.
"That level of perfection as a dramatic actress sharpens the quality of the comedy."
