Harley is a 'troubled teen' from L.A. who is arrested. A progressive social worker has Harley sent to Texas to live with the Nortons, an open-minded, heartful Christian family, and spend two months on their ranch. Surrounded by a town full of doddering hicks, Harley takes on ranch chores, learns to ride horses, and finds love in a local girl while the Nortons try to bring him into the fold. Eventually Harley chooses to release his pain in exchange for a return to faith, culminating in his calling for God's help to save the life of the burglar who framed him. Written by

Harley (1990) is another L.D.P. starring vehicle. I believe this film was made a few years before it was theatrically released (due to the fact that L.D.P. was once a box office draw). But this movie is nothing more than a cheesy family picture/ pseudo religious film. L.D.P. stars as Harley, a troubled "kid" who instead of serving some serious time is sent to a hokey white bred family. They teach him things that he never knew (i.e. family bonds, l-o-v-e and trust). The father and Harley bond together when they restore a motor bike. But that's only the start of things. Will Harley be able to forget his past? Can he accept these cheesy people as a real family? how will they take it when he finds true love? And the most important question, will he find Jebus? You'll have to find out for yourself in....HARLEY!!!!
A terrible movie but L.D.P. fans will eat this one up!
