• Audio/visual unsynchronized: When Dead Meat's plane is crashing and Topper turns Dead Meat's wife around so she doesn't see, the mirror is behind them. She says "Oh No" but you don't see her mouth moving in the mirror
  
  
• Continuity: During the Superman sequence, Ramada's earring on the right disappears and reappears several times.
  
  
• Crew or equipment visible: In the battle at the end of the movie, the shadow of the crane holding the miniature plane on the mountain is visible when Topper brakes behind a mountain, turns around the corner and follows the enemy jets.
  
  

• Continuity: The ambulance drives past Wash Out's parachute, but in the next shot, the parachute is caught on the bumper.
  
  
• Continuity: When the ambulance approaches Dead Meat's crash site, there is nothing in the center of the grille. When the ambulance arrives at the hospital, there is now the Chevrolet "bowtie" logo in the center of the grille.
  
  
• Continuity: When Admiral Benson is talking to his secretary and Lt. Block enters, there is man sitting at the table who disappears in subsequent shots and is not seen leaving the room.
  
  
• Factual errors: Dead Meat says that Topper is AWOL (Absent Without Official Leave), the Navy does not use that term; it is an Army term. The Navy uses UA (Unauthorized Absence).
  
  
• Crew or equipment visible: When Harley does his stunt on his bike and Ramada does the stunt on the tree you can see the gymnastics bar briefly behind the branch
  
  
• Continuity: During Dead Meat's crash the ambulance's license plates have different numbers.
  
  
• Continuity: After bailing out, Dead Meat lands a "square" (ram air) parachute. In the next and subsequent scenes, he is being dragged by a round ("mushroom") canopy.
