- Continuity: When the boat leaves the island, Ada trails her hand in the water, which is still and calm. On long shots, it is foaming from the action of the oars, and the boat on the water.
>>> WARNING: Here Be Spoilers <<<
Goofs below here contain information that may give away important plot points. You may not want to read any further if you've not already seen this title.
- Anachronisms: SPOILER: Ada has three pierce marks in her anatomical left ear, seen when she is sleeping after her finger has been cut off. Women of GB did not have that practice during this period.
- Continuity: SPOILER: When Ada is pulled out of the water in the slow motion scene near the end of the movie, you can see that she still has her finger. It's wrapped in bandages, but clearly there.
- Continuity: SPOILER: At the end of the movie, when the piano is thrown overboard, Ada allows the long length of rope to catch her foot thus pulling her in the water after the piano. However, underwater views of Ada being dragged deeper and deeper show the length of rope to be extremely short.
