Elsewhere, Roz is stopped for speeding by Nick and loses her license as she has 11 points previously accrued. She begs Wayne to help her out but Nick won't budge. But Roz learns the truth at the wedding when Nick gets drunk and tells her that a speeding driver killed his wife and daughter. |

Season 1, Episode 11: AbandonedOriginal Air Date—29 March 1994 A baby boy is found abandoned at Mount Thomas railway station which Nick finds hard to deal with. Maggie and Nick take him to the hospital but later the baby goes missing and The Heelers rush to find the baby and the mother before it is too late. Roz finds out about her new job at the station from Sgt. Croydon but her re-organization of the station and handling of queries gets Tom riled up almost immediately. It takes for Roz to quit for Tom to realize what he could lose. |

Later, their mother Heather is beaten up badly and Ginny swears that Heather's ex Barry beat her up. But when arrested Barry admits to beating up Heather but did not see or take Zac. So leads the Heelers in a frantic search to find his secret hiding place before it is too late. |
Season 1, Episode 16: TheftOriginal Air Date—3 May 1994 Visiting salesman George Patterson's car is stolen and when it's recovered by Wayne he claims that two of his leather jackets are missing from the car. Following his claim nosy neighbor, Graham McCann, calls into the police station and states that he saw Wayne take the jackets. Wayne is investigated and Roz is justifiably annoyed that they are targeting Wayne. Meanwhile, P.J. watches a known criminal who believes stole a safe from a local shop. He doesn't have long to wait when the errant thief injures himself trying to blow open the safe with dynamite. It later transpires that he also stole George Patterson's car to move the safe and took the missing jackets as well. Later, Chris bars Graham McCann from her pub. |
Original Air Date—10 May 1994 Lee Sutcliffe, the daughter of convicted child killer Clive Royce Ostroff, and her husband Jim become the targets of a terror campaign, both at their home and at work, after Clive is granted early release. Clive had murdered 9-year-old Rebecca Rees fourteen years previously as she walked home from school. The Heelers must try and convince the locals, who swear revenge, that Lee is also a victim and should be left alone. Tom has to convince Clive to take the train away from Mount Thomas to Melbourne for his own safety. |

Meanwhile back in Mount Thomas, Ben attends his first Alcoholics Anonymous meeting where he bumps into Mrs. Felicity Falcon-Price, to whom he issued a traffic infringement notice several weeks ago. After they get over their initial embarrassment at seeing each other there, Felicity invites Ben back for coffee. |

Garth denies it and states that he saw someone attack Amy before he got to her. But later at the hospital she recalls that she smelt a distinctive smell which sets the team on a different but narrow lead - The Prior family. Then Amy is kidnapped by the killer and the team search frantically for her whilst desperately trying to get answers from the Priors. Amy talks to her captor Steven about his abuse and after wards he knocks her out. The team discover Amy and they go to the Prior house where Steven kills his father for the abuse he suffered. Later Amy tells Garth that she doesn't want to see him again as he didn't support her when she needed him years ago. |

When there is a further bomb threat against the hospital, the Heelers can only avert catastrophe by discovering the true identity of the bomber. Original Air Date—20 May 2006 Kelly and Joss haul the pilot from a crashed crop-spraying plane - or rather, Kelly does, with the help of a a neighbouring organic farmer. Joss keeps his distance, apparently afraid the plane will explode. The pilot has had letters threatening his plane will be sabotaged, and the greenie farmer, who's been heard to threaten him at a public meeting, soon becomes the prime suspect. Another incident reinforces Kelly's suspicion of him, and also her feeling that Joss has lost his nerve. But Joss has other troubles - he is seriously behind with his rent. Kelly's friend the new lawyer is representing the organic farmer, and their relationship continues its wild see-sawing between attraction and infuriation. Meanwhile, a box of valuable comics has been stolen from a collector, and Susie and Matt investigate. Alex's son Rory has a crush on Susie, and grabs any excuse to seek her out. She indulges him and recruits him and his friend Lachie, the son of the collector, as junior detectives. In this episode Alex reverts to the subtlety and sound judgement we used to see from him before he was pushed into the role of acting sergeant. He is insightful and effective, fair but firm, as both sergeant and father, and resolves each thread of the plot with wisdom even though he'd followed a few false trails earlier. |

Senior Sgt Tom Croydon knows he should be looking after his own health and renewing ties with his estranged family. But he's distracted when disgraced former constable Adam Cooper returns to town and makes serious criminal accusations against him. Detective Amy Fox and Acting Sergeant Alex Kirby pressure Tom to clear his name, but he seems disinterested. What they don't know is he's helping a young female cancer patient through the last stages of her terminal illness. Tom last saw Adam eight years ago when he was dismissed from the police force for corruption. Now Adam's accusations may send Tom to jail, the station is about to be closed, and the jobs of all the Mt Thomas police are on the line. But Tom does not seem interested in saving himself, or his colleagues. His personal life is in turmoil. Still coming to terms with the effects of his recent prostate cancer operation, Tom is caring for a fellow cancer patient in her final days.
