Trivia

Mr. Bowmont is the name of the second highest bidder of the boat in the silent auction which Joey won, not the name of the boat. But when the boat arrives outside the coffee house, Joey calls it the Mr. Bowmont. (This is a joke. Rachel tries to convince the Second Highest bidder to take the boat because he can name it after himself, and Joey is so caught up in the moment he decides to buy the boat after all. Being Joey, he does not think to call it "the Mr Tribbiani" instead.) See more »

Goofs

Even the show's designer has commented on the fact that the Central Perk sign on the window can be read correctly from both inside and outside the coffee shop. But viewers have noticed that the logo is symmetrical and suggest that it isn't unfeasible for the owners to have placed a sign on the inside of the window which completely covers the one on the outside, making it readable from both sides. Quotes

Chandler: You see that?
Monica: Do you see this?

Monica: Duhhhhhh?

Crazy Credits

When the "The One That Could Have Been" was divided into two parts for syndication, a sequence was added that had the ending credits superimposed. It shows fat Monica dancing to some music while eating some food. The original hourlong airing of "The One That Could Have Been" did not have the credits at the end of the first half hour and this scene was not involved. See more »

The Best Show Ever
20 February 2005 | by (Farmingville, New York) – See all my reviews

Everyone says that Seinfield is the greatest show ever. I love Seinfield but it doesn't come close to Friends. Every episode of Friends will make you laugh non-stop. We have grown to love the characters and what happens to them. The fitting personalities of these characters are absolute genius. Rachel the spoiled yet sweet girl, Monica the mother figure, Phoebe the hippy chick, Joey the dopey yet cool Italian, Chandler the sarcastic loser and Ross the neurotic victim stay together to help each other with their problems in the big city. I've got every season on DVD. This sitcom, in my opinion, is the greatest sitcom of all time and it changed the TV world forever. It's a great show.
