Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

Early in the movie, a woman in a very low cut dress "attacks" Ace Ventura and offers to take his pants off (sex is implied) instead of pay him, then "attacks" him & it is suggested she is performing oral sex on him.

One mild Sex scene. A bed moves violently and bags against the wall and we can see there lower bodies moving under the covers, and a woman moans loudly. It is suggested that they have done it several times before and that they do it again.

Several references and suggestions concerning sexual situations.

We see Ace naked in a bathroom, the scene is brief but quite graphic. We see his bare butt and brief glimpses of his genitals.

Near the end Ace Ventura "strips" a female character & refers to genitals with several humorous expressions.

Violence & Gore

Near the end of the film, a character pulls out a gun, threatening to kill Ace and Dan Marino (no one is killed and no blood is shown).

Comical mild violence throughout the film.

Profanity

Some mild language, and references to sex. An obscene finger gesture.

The man that Ace rescues the dog from is smoking a ciggeratte.

Melissa asks Ace if he wants an ash tray for his sunflower seeds, but Ace says that he doesn't smoke, and that its a disgusting habbit.

There is a scene of a death metal band named 'Cannibal Corpse', and some of it looks intense. Cannibal Corpse is known for it's brutal, straight-forward lyrics about death and gore.

At one scene, Ace is making it seem like he is talking out of his ass, the scene is actually quite funny, but some viewers might find it pretty creepy.
