Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

1 scene of rape, although only face shots are shown and it takes place in a dimly lit room.

Violence & Gore

All the beating scenes (especially the domestic violence scene) are very graphic and hard to watch.

-A heavily built man wearing a vest smashes a bottles over another mans head before attacking his 3-4 friends with punches, headbutts and a kick to one of them whilst they are down.

-A man wearing a check shirt delivers a series of quick left and right hooks to a mans face, before kneeing him twice in the face and throwing him to the ground. A swift kick is delivered to the bloodied unconcious man whilst grounded

-A very brutal scene of domestic violence, in which a man punches his wife in the face knocking her back into a wall, she is dragged to her feet, smacked twice in the face and thrown into another wall. He strikes her twice more in the face, throws her violently onto a couch then smashes her head into a mirror. Shortly after he throws her onto the bed and rips his shirt off in a rage, implying that he forcably had intercourse with her.

-A young man is punched, kicked, kneed and elbowed by in a gang initiation beating. By the time the leader calls halt to the beating, the receiver of the beatings is barely concious and bruised.

-A teenage delinquent tries to attack an older man with a wooden staff, but is disarmed and thrown to the ground

-A teenage girl commits suicide by hanging, although the actual death is off screen, the body is seen hanging.

-A man pins his wife aggressively against a wall and has his arm drawn back as if to hit her. He has a bottle in his hand. He smashes the bottle very near her head in a rage, and issues a death threat.

-A vicious beating is dealt out in a crowded bar; a man has his head smashed through a window, is punched repeatedly in the face, is struck with a metal bar stool, has his head bashed off a wooden table, is kicked in the groin and finally stabbed with a freshly broken beer bottle. By the time the beating has ended the man is severly injured and covered in blood.

Profanity

Pervasive strong/abusive coarse language.

Cigarettes are smoked and beer is drunk throughout the film.

The rape and domestic violence scenes are very realistic and intense.
