Trivia:
The Paramount soundstage where the majority of the Voyager interiors were located, was condemned and demolished following the completion of filming of the series finale in 2001. The Next Generation crew quarters, transporter rooms, and portions of Engineering were the only sets that became part of the U.S.S. Voyager following the filming of Star Trek: Generations (1994). All other TNG Enterprise sets were demolished. more
Goofs:
Continuity: Throughout the series, the number of crewmen on Voyager has fluctuated despite the fact that several have died over the course of the series, and only around eight have been added. The number of the crew has been as few as 125 and as many as 160. more

The Doctor: As appealing as that sounds, I'm a doctor, not a dragonslayer. more

Far better than it's said to be, 4 January 2000
Author: (jsolinas@erols.com) from MD

Voyager started off on shaky ground, but gradually levelled off into a good scifi show. It took TNG forever to find its unique niche and identity, and so it is for Voyager. It can be compared to the original Star Trek, in its go-where-no-one-has-gone-before identity.

Humor and drama, action and sometimes even horror are well-balanced in Voyager, the characters started off slightly odd but eventually became edgy but fast friends with each other. Even Neelix, the Talaxian who often looks as if he's wearing rejects from Quark's wardrobe, has become a far more palatable and even likable character.

If Neelix can make me laugh, then Voyager has its niche. :)
