- Continuity: Marcus' wife complains that he is not wearing his wedding ring, even though he is. It suddenly disappears, after which he retrieves it from his pocket.
- Continuity: The same computer screen shot of the location of the speeding car is shown twice when tracking the cellular phone call.
- Continuity: At the Biltmore Hotel when Julie and Max arrive the sun is out, but when they are chasing Julie on the roof, it is already night.
- Revealing mistakes: When the Mike throws the ether out of the car and makes it explode, a cable can be seen attached to the roof.
- Crew or equipment visible: In the opening car-jacking sequence, the crew is reflected in the door of the Porsche as it is opened.
- Continuity: The huge car-jacker's gun (the man on Marcus' side) switches hands between shots (right-left-right).
- Continuity: When Julie and Max arrive at the Biltmore, Julie has no lipstick on. In the next shot when they hand her the champagne glass, she has dark lipstick on.
- Revealing mistakes: When Mike looks out the window to see Marcus breaking in he has a white undershirt on. When he is fighting with Marcus outside his shirt is then a dark blue color.
- Crew or equipment visible: As Marcus and Mike are about to break into the air conditioner contractor's house, the camera's reflection can be seen on the hood of the car in the foreground.
- Continuity: The Porsche features leather seats. In the first scene, it's clear that the car has the option which embosses the Porsche logo on the headrest. The embossing disappears and reappears throughout the movie.
- Continuity: When Marcus and Mike are at Club Hell, Mike is at the bar while Marcus is being attacked in the restroom. The foot of the dancer that Mike is watching changes as the scene cuts back and forth. The shoe and toe nail polish is different.
- Errors in geography: When the Porsche stops after the Cobra crashes, the license plate shows that the car is registered in Paris, France.
- Revealing mistakes: When the crooks are breaking into the police evidence locker, they freeze and shatter the padlock, which lets both ends of the chain fall into the locker. In the same sequence, however, hands grasp both ends of the chain and pull it out through the bars as if there were two lengths of chain simply dangling into the locker and attached to the padlock. At the same time, chunks of the "steel" bars break off from the impact of the bolt cutters and the dragging of the chains revealing the bars are made of wood.
- Continuity: One of the goons in the hangar is shot down by Mike Lowry. Later, before the hangar explodes, you can see him running out of the hangar.
- Continuity: When Mike and Marcus draw their guns on the store owner, Mike is on the clerk's right and Marcus on the left. However, Mike's double guns appear on the store owner's left when the camera switches.
- Continuity: Three tail lights get shot out of the same car in the hotel chase scene.
- Continuity: After Marcus takes the bat away from Julie and is telling her the hit men are coming to get her, the bat is in his hand. In the next shot, it's lying on the floor by her leg, and then Marcus asks for the back door and throws the bat down.
- Crew or equipment visible: In the fight sequence at the end of the film, a cameraman can be seen standing with a hand-held camera in the group of kids that are circling the area.
- Continuity: When Julie calls the precinct to speak to Mike, she ends up talking with Marcus. There is an out of focus flower in the foreground that alternates from perky to wilted to perky to wilted throughout the scene.
- Continuity: In the scene when Marcus wakes up in bed with his wife, he reaches to turn-off the radio on the left, then the radio is shown on his right, then back to the left.
- Crew or equipment visible: In the chase scene where the criminals kidnap Julie form Collins Park, they steal a taxi cab. Right after Marcus jumps on top of the cab, you can clearly see a sparkler behind the front fender. This is probably a special effect to simulate sparks from the car bottoming out.
- Factual errors: During the firefight outside of Julie's apartment, Marcus' gun locks open (empty), however at his car he fires again without reloading.
- Continuity: When Mike, Marcus and the Captain are on the Basketball court Mike is holding an ice pack. In a subsequent shot when they are in a close group Mike throws the ice pack on the court, in the next shot it is in his hand again.
- Continuity: In the scene when Marcus is thrown off the taxi, the taxi crashes into a blue car. While backing up, you see no blue bumper hanging from the taxi's own bumper. In the next shot, it suddenly appears (on the left hand side of the taxi's bumper). One shot later, the blue bumper has disappeared again.
- Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): In the scene on the basketball court with Martin, Will, and the Captain, they do a close up and Martin has a booger in his nose.
- Continuity: In the hanger scene where the white suited dealer gets shot, the gun is pointed at his face, but he gets shot through the heart.
- Revealing mistakes: When the car on the bridge is caught in the ethanol explosion, part of it comes crashing back down. A rigging cable attached to it is clearly visible in silhouette against the flames.
- Continuity: In Mike's apartment, Markus' wife has found them out and Julie leaves the apartment via the elevator door, pursued by Mike. Markus' wife correctly leaves by the door on the right, which leads to the stairwell. However, when we see Mike and Julie exit the elevator, the leave by the door on the left instead of the door on the right. They leave by the door to the stairwell instead of the one to the elevator
- Revealing mistakes: (At 01:39:55) The camera appears to do a massive pan around the bad guy holding the phone. The camera angle on the actor's face does not actually change, revealing that both actor and (fixed) camera must have been on the same rig being rotated clockwise.

- Continuity: SPOILER: After Mike shoots Fouchet dead lying on the ground in the final scene, Fouchet's head falls to the right. Shortly after, however, Fouchet's head is looking straight up.
