• Continuity: Kate's crossbow starts with three arrows on each side and one in the middle. She fires numerous arrows at the vampires, yet her supply of arrows never seems to go down. For the most part, this is due to the fact that it is a pump-action crossbow (as is shown when she first cocks it after picking it up) that brings a new bolt into position when the string is cocked back with the pump. While this explains why she doesn't have to sit around and reload the thing after every shot, the six bolts attached to the bow of the weapon do disappear suddenly, and apparently without being loaded into the bolt cartridge.
  
  
• Continuity: When they are approaching the Mexican border, the same car pulls up twice and the same man gets out both times.
  
  
• Crew or equipment visible: The dolly tracks can be seen in front of the bar when the doorman talks about "wet pussies, dry pussies..." etc.
  
  
• Continuity: In the nude bar, Jacob removes his glasses but in the next shot they are back on again.
  
  
• Crew or equipment visible: Seth sets the clerk in the liquor store on fire. When the fire-engulfed clerk jumps up to shoot at the brothers again, you can see the fire-proof glove on his hand holding the gun.
  
  
• Continuity: After the brothers rob the liquor store, we see them driving down the highway and Richie's leg is hanging out the window. Seen from inside the car, his leg is inside and then he does not put his leg out the window until later.
  
  
• Continuity: As Scott is bitten by Jacob, plenty shots of gushing blood are shown, when Jacob releases a mere scratch is on Scott's neck. The next shot shows a blood covered neck.
  
  
• Crew or equipment visible: When Seth Gecko gets knocked across the bar by Satanico Pandemonium, you could briefly see the mat that he lands on before cutting away to a close-up of him landing on the ground.
  
  
• Continuity: During the fight in the Titty Twister bar, Seth's 6-shooter fires more than six shots.
  
  
• Revealing mistakes: During the fight in the Titty Twister, when the vampire's head rolls over towards Kate she actually misses the head when she tries to step on it. But in the next shot, it's sitting neatly under her foot.
  
  
• Crew or equipment visible: Lighting equipment, as well as the set's roof can be seen in several shots inside the bar after the vampire grabs Katie Fuller.
  
  
• Continuity: Satanico Pandemonium's hairs. She tosses and ruffles her hair when dancing on the table. But after the entry of man beaten up by Seth and Richard earlier, they are suddenly straight again.
  
  
• Audio/visual unsynchronized: Once Satanico Pandemonium ends her show, there is a close up of Seth clapping his hands and saying "Now that's what I call a fucking show!" But in the next shot which is further away he is seen clapping his hands and mouthing the same thing again but no audio.
  
  
• Factual errors: U.S Border Patrol Agents in Texas uniforms are green not blue, as shown in the film.
  
  
• Factual errors: The RV is heading into Mexico from the US and therefore would be subject to scrutiny and questioning by Mexican customs, not US customs as depicted. The only US border authority interaction would be payment of a crossing fee.
  
  
• Factual errors: In the bar the rays of the rising sun would only enter from one side, not both.
  
  
• Continuity: After Ritchie kills Gloria, Seth walks out of the bedroom and pushes Ritchie (who is facing the bedroom) against the wall. However, when Seth hugs him a moment later, the bedroom is now behind Ritchie's back.
  
  
• Continuity: When Seth and Richie are in the Fuller's hotel room holding Scott and Jacob at gunpoint, Kate opens the door and stops when Richie and Seth point their guns at her, Richie then closes the door with her behind it but in the next shot of the door she is front of it.
  
  
• Factual errors: Jacob Fuller is established as a (lapsed) Baptist minister early on. At the scene behind the bar in the weapon room, he blesses water and makes the sign of the cross. A Baptist minister would never do this, as genuflections and the concept of "holy water" are Catholic.
  
  
• Continuity: In the scene outside the Titty Twister, Seth grabs Cheech's hand with his right hand, bending it back and to the side. In the next scene, Seth now has the same hold but applied with his left hand as he hits Cheech in the face with his right hand.
  
  
• Crew or equipment visible: (At 50:22) You can see a camera slide into frame from the right.
