Movie To Premiere On The Internet

For the first time, a never-before-released feature film, Dead Broke (1999) starring Paul Sorvino, will be broadcast over the Internet on Wednesday, USA Today reported today (Monday). The film, employing "streaming" video can be accessed at <http://www.ifilm.net> beginning at 2 p.m. Rodger Raderman, founder of the iFilm Network, told the newspaper, "The time is very close at hand when the computer and the television will be very similar. In five years, everybody will have broadband access. . . . It will be like pay-per-view in your hotel room. You watch it when you want to watch, where you want to watch it, over your television or computer or in a theater."
