When I first cautiously popped this into my DVD player I didn't know what to expect. I had low hopes for it, and I figured it'd be total crap given the time and budget it was made under. And throughout the first part of the movie I was right. HOWEVER... There were things I overlooked... the fact that the film was shot on film. Yes! Actual film. As most low budget movies are shot on crappy analog or digital now a days, it cheapens the effect. This movie seemed to have a fluctuating budget or the director was saving the goods till the end. I won't give away anything, but if you're a true fan of Evil Dead, and like corn ball movies. Give this one a shot. It deserves at least one view. The acting isn't that great, but the lead is pretty hot and there is a nice full frontal nude scene. The story itself doesn't make much sense, but the characters introduced at the end of the film make the film. All in all, I gave it an IMDb rating of 7/10. It's a good effort, and not a bad film. Although it certainly lacks replay value, I have no regrets viewing it the first time.
