I watched this some time ago (I can't believe it was as long ago as 1996).
It was billed on UK TV as a pilot episode, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
It was a fun, light-hearted family Sitcom - nothing too heavy, and I was surprised when a TV series was not forthcoming.
Robert Lindsay (of Citizen Smith fame) was excellent as usual.
