A truly fine film, you should see it, but only after you have read "The Idiot." It follows the trail of an 'idiot' who blunders into the middle of a love square, inadvertently turning it into a pentagon. The idiot loves each member of the strange central trio and the tension, of course, rests on who he will choose. It is nicely acted and filmed beautifully. The only two problems I had with this film were the music and his nosebleeds. The music is wielded like a brick to make important points throughout this otherwise quiet film. His nosebleeds (and a particularly screechy kind of music) attack him whenever he is seized by his relentless empathy. I personally would recommend that you go see Gedeon's earlier and WONDERFUL "Indianske Leto"-Indian Summer. It is worth hunting up wherever you can find it.
