When he turns around to tell the store owner that he would have to buy him dinner first, his mouth is now overflowing with beef jerky without him haven taken another bite.

  • Continuity: When Enid is dying her hair brown, her hair goes from having one piece in her face to a big piece stuck to her face to being neatly to the sides, between shots without her touching it.

  • Continuity: When Enid surprises Seymour at Cook's Chicken and Dana walks in, Seymour spills his ice all over the table and proceeds to scoop it into his cup but when the scene changes the cup is sitting on the table and Seymour's arms aren't moving (the sound effects continue). Then the cup disappears in front of Seymour.

  • Boom mic visible: In the scene where Enid surprises Seymour at Cook's Chicken, the boom is clearly visible in one angle, reflected in the window behind Seymour's head.

  • Continuity: When Enid throws the money to John in the Zine-O-Phobia shop, the "Duplex Planet" comic appears in the display rack, one shot before we actually then see John put it in the rack.

  • Continuity: When Enid and Rebecca are at the diner and Enid is looking through the personal ads, reading them aloud, Rebecca is playing with sugar on the table. She forms shapes in them that change unnaturally every time the camera goes back to her

  • Factual errors: When Enid rips open the wrapper of the champagne/sparkling wine there is no metal wire around the cork. There is always a metal wire (because of the pressure that is inside the bottle).

  • Continuity: When Seymour is talking to his therapist, a clock on the table beside the lamp disappears and reappears between shots.
