• Continuity: The broken sculpture gains and loses pieces at random.
  
  
• Continuity: The amount of malt liquor in the bottle on top of the car varies.
  
  
• Continuity: The amount of liquor in the bottle on top of Doug's car magically increases, and the bottle changes positions on the car several times.
  
  

• Continuity: When Enid and Rebecca are laughing at Seymour's name, Rebecca puts her hand over her mouth. In the next shot she has her arms crossed.
  
  
• Continuity: When Enid and Seymour are in the car they are overtaken on the left by a motorcycle cop. When we cut to the two women crossing the street, there is no sign of the motorcycle.

• Continuity: When Enid and Rebecca are following the "Satanist" couple, we see them walking down a street with a storefront to their left and a crosswalk sign behind them. • Continuity: When the girls are sitting in the '50s diner for the first time, a pizza on the table in front of Rebecca appears and disappears repeatedly between shots.

• Continuity: When the art teacher, Roberta, is asking Enid to explain her Coon Chicken piece, she shifts from fumbling with her art book in the wide shot to having her arms spread away from the book in the close-up shot.
  
  
• Continuity: When Doug is buying the cigarettes and malt liquor because he says he's working 16 hours, he only takes one average size bite out of one of the six sticks of beef jerky that he is also buying. When he turns around to tell the store owner that he would have to buy him dinner first, his mouth is now overflowing with beef jerky without him haven taken another bite.
  
  
• Continuity: When Enid is dying her hair brown, her hair goes from having one piece in her face to a big piece stuck to her face to being neatly to the sides, between shots without her touching it.
  
  
• Continuity: When Enid surprises Seymour at Cook's Chicken and Dana walks in, Seymour spills his ice all over the table and proceeds to scoop it into his cup but when the scene changes the cup is sitting on the table and Seymour's arms aren't moving (the sound effects continue). Then the cup disappears in front of Seymour.
  
  
• Boom mic visible: In the scene where Enid surprises Seymour at Cook's Chicken, the boom is clearly visible in one angle, reflected in the window behind Seymour's head.
  
  
• Continuity: When Enid throws the money to John in the Zine-O-Phobia shop, the "Duplex Planet" comic appears in the display rack, one shot before we actually then see John put it in the rack.
  
  
• Continuity: When Enid and Rebecca are at the diner and Enid is looking through the personal ads, reading them aloud, Rebecca is playing with sugar on the table. She forms shapes in them that change unnaturally every time the camera goes back to her
  
  
• Factual errors: When Enid rips open the wrapper of the champagne/sparkling wine there is no metal wire around the cork. There is always a metal wire (because of the pressure that is inside the bottle).
  
  
• Continuity: When Seymour is talking to his therapist, a clock on the table beside the lamp disappears and reappears between shots.
