When "Twilight" cast members began tweeting about subjects involving missing clothing, I definitely did not expect to log on to Twitter today and find out that Christian Serratos decided to outdo all of them, but but her new garment-less PETA ad definitely succeeded.
Dane Cook and Ice-t, meanwhile, were less focused on saving fur and more intent on playing "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" this weekend, according to their posts, and at least one of them found himself in possession of some nightvision goggles. Check all of that out after the jump along with Danny Masterson's criticism for Andre Agassi, "Toy Story 3" director Lee Unkrich's favorite childhood toy and much more. I'm @brianwarmoth and this is the Twitter-Wood report for November 9, 2009.

Q: I recently watched a new series from USA Network titled White Collar, and I was stunned by the gorgeousness of the lead character, Neal, played by the beautiful Matthew Bomer. I can't seem to find much info about him. Mind to fill in more? -- rcLoy, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
A: Bomer is from Houston where his father was a Dallas Cowboy. He was a high school (and, later, acting school) classmate of Pushing Daisies’ Lee Pace. He started on soaps, almost played Superman in the latest Superman movie, and co-starred on the TV show Tru Calling (with Eliza Dushku) and in the movie Flight Plan (with Jodie Foster), and also had a reoccurring role on Chuck.

We last told you about Creepshow: Raw over a year ago. Is it just another excuse for Taurus Entertainment to cash in on the good name of yet another Romero helmed franchise? Or could there be something to this? The first episode is available now. Judge for yourselves.
Watch the eight-minute entry starring Michael Madsen and directed by "That '70s Show"'s Wilmer Valderrama below. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to slam my dick in my front door until it looks like a sliver of thinly sliced veal.

Wilmer Valderrama is going to the dogs. The former star of That '70s Show will star in a half-hour sitcom based on the escapades of Dog Whisperer Cesar Millan now being developed for Fox, reports Variety. Cesar's Way author Millan, who has re-trained some of the worst-behaved dogs ever to appear onscreen, has been involved in many, er, hairy adventures that will presumably be fodder for the new show. Related: What You Don't Know About CesarWhile details of the project remain sketchy, the trade paper says Hung co-executive producer Emily Kapnek is onboard to write and executive produce, and both Valderrama, »

Hollywood's latest hookup is Topher Grace and Katie Cassidy. The film stars have ignited dating rumor after they are reported enjoying numerous dinner dates following their first meeting at a friend's Hollywood party in August.
A source tells National Enquirer to have witnessed the apparent lovers getting cozy during an outing. "They could not keep their hands off each other. They sat side by side and were inseparable. Topher kept kissing Katie and rubbing her shoulders. He looked in love," claims the source.
Neither Topher nor Katie has addressed the dating report though.
Romance aside, Topher Grace is best known for playing the role of Eric Forman in Fox's sitcom "That '70s Show". He will next star in comedy romance movie "Valentine's Day". As for Katie Cassidy, she is widely recognized as the daughter of pop idol David Cassidy. Professionally, she is best known for her role as Trish Wellington »

The nice thing about Twitter-stalking celebrities is that under most circumstances there is no danger of injury or harm to personal property, which is more than can be said of Christian Serratos' mother's car today, according the "Twilight" star's tweets.
And while danger may not have been a factor, Miley Cyrus seems to have decided that Twitter is no longer the place for her, according to her final tweet before closing her account. I will personally miss the pictures or her mullet-wigged, surgical masked father, in addition to all of her meditative wisdom, and wish her well offline. Sarah Silverman, Ice-t and Jessica Simpson are all still online though. Believe or not, they all posted pics over the last 24 hours, and Silverman's is easily the least bizarre. Oh, and let's also take a moment to welcome Tracy Morgan to the Twitter community. He greets us with an ominous message, »

The Hollywood Reporter has opened the door to the casting for the Robert Rodriguez produced Predators, Fox's return to the Predator franchise that began with Arnold Schwarzenegger in 1987 and recently disappointed everyone with two Alien vs. Predator films, most recently in 2007. The script for this latest version was penned by Rodriguez, Alex Litvak and Michael Finch and will be directed by Nimrod Antal (Vacancy).
The news carries some heavy weight at the top as Adriend Brody will star as a man who ends up inheriting the mantle of leader and is known as a hunter of men in the film following a group of elite warrior-types who are being hunted by members of a race of merciless alien trackers called Predators.
Joining Brody will be one-time "That '70s Show" star Topher Grace playing an accountant-type whose unassuming facade masks a dangerous serial killer; I Am Legend's Alice Braga playing »

We told you it was coming and sure enough, Variety has announced the entire cast for Robert Rodriguez's Predators , which will be headlined by Oscar-winning actor Adrien Brody ( King Kong , The Pianist ) as the mercenary Royce. At the same time, The Hollywood Reporter 's "Heat Vision Blog" is reporting that actor Topher Grace ( Spider-Man 3 , "That '70s Show") is in negotiations to join Brody as Edwin, an accountant who is in fact a dangerous serial killer. The rest of the multinational cast includes the aforementioned Danny Trejo and Walton Goggins from "The Shield" as well as Alice Braga ( I Am Legend ), Oleg Taktarov, Mahershalalhashbaz Ali ("The 4400"), and Louiz Ozawa. There was a lot to catch up on in Twitter-Wood today after my long weekend, including the 40th anniversary of Monty Python's first appearance on television, which member John Cleese and fan Edgar Wright both noted. Elsewhere, Edward Norton and Danny Masterson had good things to tweet about Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke's live solo performance, and Miley Cyrus and Ashley Tisdale joined Paris Hilton among those tweeting their Halloween costume plans for 2009.
There is loads more to check out, though, believe it or not, as James Gunn tweeted a pic of himself offering juice to a horse that may belong to Rainn Wilson and Jeremy Piven posted a behind-the-scene shot of Matt Damon from "Entourage." I can't even summarize it all today, I retweeted so many people. I'm @brianwarmoth, and this is your Twitter-Wood report for October 5, 2009.

Topher Grace's post-That '70s Show career has, thus far, amounted to his role as Venom in Spider-Man 3, but that's about to change with the release of his next two projects -- Young Americans and Valentine's Day. In the former, the winsome 31-year-old actor stars with Michelle Trachtenberg and Anna Faris as an adulthood-fearing romantic. In the latter, he's part of a giant celebrity ensemble with Julia Roberts, Anne Hathaway, and old sitcom pal Ashton Kutcher. Grace talked us about his upcoming projects, the legacy of That 70s Show, and the movie he'd least like to star in. »

Star Tribune (Minneapolis) (McT) -- If dying is easy and comedy is hard, then creating a network sitcom that wows both critics and a mass audience is darn near impossible these days. The last series that slipped into that coveted category was "Everybody Loves Raymond," which went off the air in 2005. NBC boasted 16 sitcoms in 1997; now it has four. Fox hasn't had a hit live-action laugher since 2006, when "Bernie Mac," "That '70s Show" and "Malcolm in the Middle" were still on the air. Its latest offering, "Brothers," isn't likely to snap the cold streak. The good news: 2009 may be the… »

This week, EW University takes a look at the people who helped shape the modern TV landscape. Today’s TV auteur is Aaron Sorkin, whose distinct voice pushed network comedies out of the ‘90s and network dramas into the White House. Class is now in session! When Sports Night premiered in 1998, it was met with critical praise, fanatical devotion on the part of its 10 million or so viewers (which at the time made it the 45th most-watched show), and a revived conversation about the future of the laughtrack for network comedies. Sports Night debuted with canned laughs, but it was so out of place that ABC couldn’t help but eventually side with Sorkin and the show’s fans. Out went the laughtrack, and in came an era where the differences between multicamera and single-camera comedies became normal TV fan knowledge, not just inside-baseball musings. Sports Night’s contemporaries were »

For those of you who caught the Boise State game or "Big Brother" last night, I've got some good news for you. You can click right on ahead and find out what Seth Meyers and Shannon Elizabeth were thinking while you picked your jaw up off the floor in front of the TV. I'm in the prior camp.
Moving on, I've got a pile of photos on the Twitter-Wood playlist today. Selecting among all of Emmy Rossum's shots onstage with Counting Crows in Central Park proved too difficult, so I just grabbed one and suggest you head over to her account for the rest. Grabbing the Twitter Pic of the Day honors, however, was Brett Ratner, who posted a shot of himself with Michael Jackson and P. Diddy. There seems to be something different going on with each of them in the scene. Keep on going, and you'll see »

Outside of seeing three films in theaters this week I also took in nine titles at home including films from Akira Kurosawa, Roman Polanski, Claude Lelouch and two from Chan-wook Park. It's a mixed bag going from a movie about a girl with a machine gun arm to a film from the French New Wave. As always, remember you can keep tabs on my personal Netflix queue right here. Now, here's the recap of my week in movies... The Machine Girl (2008) Quick Thoughts: I can't remember which one of the Netflix friends I have had this in their queue, but I saw it and noticed it was on Instant Play and just had to give it a watch. I mean, at 96 minutes who wouldn't want to give a movie about a girl with a machine gun on her arm a chance? Well, I gave it a chance and must say, »

Two influential power-pop classics for the price of one
It’s ironic that Cheap Trick’s cover of Big Star’s “In The Street” became the theme song for That '70s Show, since Alex Chilton’s outfit was far from a typical ’70s band. In a time when proggy excess (Yes, Elp), weighty concepts (Pink Floyd) and blooze rawk (Led Zep) ruled the airwaves, Big Star’s concise guitar pop sounded hopelessly square. Like appreciating Citizen Kane’s advances in cinematic storytelling, it requires mental time travel to understand what this Memphis outfit accomplished in its short, commercially unsuccessful career. Fortunately, Concord has unearthed its 1992 reissue of Big Star’s first two albums, tacking on alternate mixes of two songs (one of which features—yes—more cowbell). To listeners raised on similar strains of guitar pop, from Teenage Fanclub to The Long Winters, the sound won’t be revolutionary but the crystalline mixes, »

Get ready for a brand new breed of Brat Pack. Director Joel Schumacher is bringing his iconic oh-so-'80s flick St. Elmo's Fire to TV as an hour-long dramatic comedy. ABC is set to pick up the project, co-produced by Schumacher and actor Topher Grace (That '70s Show). The TV version of St. Elmo's Fire is being prepped as a more dramatic version of Friends, according to its producers. The show will introduce us to a group of six friends (three men and three women) who hang out at the St. Elmo's Bar & Grill in the original film's setting of Georgetown.
The 1985 film helped launch the careers of several young actors, including Rob Lowe, Demi Moore, Andrew McCarthy, Emilio Estevez, Judd Nelson, and Ally Sheedy. Casting will be key to the remake's success.Continue reading St. Elmo's Fire remake heads to ABC
