Unseen Prequels, More Pixar Costumes And M.I.A. In Today's Twitter-Wood

3 November 2009 3:30 PM, PST | MTV Movies Blog | See recent MTV Movies Blog news »

Simon Pegg came a little late to the "Unseen Prequels" meme that's been bouncing around Twitter this week, but I stuck his "Star Wars" proposal along with Jon Favreau's submission up at the top of the list today just the same.

Also discovering a trend late today appears to be "Twilight" actor Peter Facinelli, who's been exploring new Bluetooth headset technology. He and his "Eclipse" director David Slade show up in the Twitter-Wood report today, as does Facinelli's co-star Alex Meraz. Check out their posts after the jump, along with some more Pixar costumes from Lee Unkrich, and an M.I.A. performance caught by Nicky Hilton during the Jimmy Choo shoe debut for H&M. It all happened in Twitter-Wood, and it's in the report for November 3, 2009.

Captain Lou Albano Remembered, Simon Pegg Reads 'Twilight' And More Halloween Costumes In Today's Twitter-Wood

14 October 2009 4:00 PM, PDT | MTV Movies Blog | See recent MTV Movies Blog news »

Celebrities retweeting webcam pics of fans dressed as them may officially be a trend now, following yesterday's Fred Durst incident. Now Rainn Wilson has received a pic from a Dwight super-fan, and his shock defies language.

Tweets trickles in from all over Twitter-Wood throughout the rest of the day to remember wrestler and actor Captain Lou Albano, whom you may remember from pay-per-view events, as well as from "The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!" where he portrayed Mario. Read those rubber band memorials after jump along with Simon Pegg's reaction to the "Twilight" books, Shaquille O'Neal's mama joke to Ashton Kutcher and BooBoo Stewart's plans for Halloween. It's all in the Twitter-Wood report for October 14, 2009.

Wrong Turn 2: Dead End (Blu-ray Review)

11 October 2009 9:36 PM, PDT | Fangoria | See recent Fangoria news »

Dare I say it? I mean thousands of horror fans everywhere may launch back it me. I’m going to risk it and say it- I think Wrong Turn 2 is way better than the first Wrong Turn. Yes, I know….sexy Eliza Dushku and what-not. But really, I love Wrong Turn 2. Let me take a step back even further and say that I just love the whole cannibalistic-mutant genre in general. Be it The Hills Have Eyes, Raw Meat, and especially C.H.U.D., I’m a sucker for misshapen heads, bulging eyes, and three toes. So I was very psyched when I received my copy of Wrong Turn 2 on Blu-ray.  Directed by Joe Lynch, it is easy to see his early Troma roots (actor- Terror Firmer) shining through in this quirky feature. I can only hope we soon see more from Lynch. Where as many …

Satan Hates You.  And You.  And You Over There?  Yeah, Especially You.

11 June 2009 1:58 PM, PDT | Twitch | See recent Twitch news »

It’s the latest effort from James Felix McKenney (Automatons) and producer Larry Fessenden and it stars a whole lot of old-school horror icons, Angus Scrimm and Reggie Bannister among them.  It’s Satan Hates You and Fangoria have just gotten an exclusive look at the trailer.

Inspired by films from the golden age of religious cinema, Satan Hates You is a graphic horror film that tells the stories of two individuals and their personal struggles with Lucifer himself.

We follow Marc (Don Wood) a homicidal maniac driven by demons buried deep within his soul, and Wendy (Christine Spencer) a young woman who lives life fast and hard without a second’s thought to the consequences. Their separate paths will eventually cross, but will it be on the road to salvation or the highway to hell?

Also starring:  Angus Scrimm (Phantasm, TV’s Alias), Reggie Bannister (Phantasm, Bubba Ho-tep), Michael Berryman
