Magnolia (1999), one of the most original films out of Hollywood in 1999, is available on this DVD from New Line. How does it look?
The film master used is clean and steady.
Color and contrast rendition are state of the art. Images are sharp and the noise and grain level is usually low.
Compression is good. Finally there are few video artifacts, and except for some overenhanced edges in some shots it does not get much better.
The second DVD is filled with supplements.
This is a solid effort from New Line. Recommended.
