• Continuity: Before the plow crashed into the snow fort there were already snow tracks present.
  
  
• Continuity: When Laura and her son get into the car, there is a red-haired troll doll on the dashboard. However, in one shot from outside and in front of the car, there is a horse where the troll should be.
  
  
• Continuity: Claire is seen riding off with her boyfriend on a snowmobile, both of them wearing helmets. Several seconds later, only the snowmobile operator has a helmet on.
  
  

• Continuity: During the snowmobile chase, Hal stops to let the two goons shoot on ahead of him. Yet in the next shot of Hal (after the two baddies separate their machines), Chet is coming up on him from behind.
  
  
• Continuity: In the introduction, after the principal gets hit with the snowball he falls back and drops his steak into a lawn chair. In the next scene, his dog comes and picks it up from the ground.
  
  
• Continuity: When Tom Brandston bets his wife Laura Brandston $1 she won't answer the phone, you'll notice on the first shot that he has his wallet and is thumbing through it. Then in the next shot of him, he gets the wallet from his coat and pulls the bill out.
  
  
• Continuity: When the kid dances after hearing there is no school, he suddenly appears on the other side of the screen.
  
  
• Continuity: When Lane skates over to Hal, she comes from the other direction than where she was standing.
  
  
• Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): When Wayne is tied to the snow plow he has gloves on, but when snow plow man is holding him to trade, he does not have gloves on.
