Ill-fated CBS Saturday morning cartoon show that was a spin-off on the syndicated Conan the Adventurer. "Conan and the Young Warriors" deals with a maturer Conan who is a mentor to three students, two of them are boys and one is a girl. Written by
I remember seeing one episode of this show on CBS. Basically, Conan takes a backseat from his adventurer status (this is, by the way, a spin of to Conan the Adventurer - a highly recommended cartoon show to watch, if you ever see it) to teach three kids, two of them boys and the third a girl, the ways of the warrior. If you are a Conan fan, the concept sounded really stupid and I think you're glad that no more than one episode made to the light of day. If this had ever lived, it would have made Conan to "Conan the Barney-like moralist". I'm not sure why one episode made it, but apparently the execs at CBS thought it was a doppy idea (that or the ratings plummed). Whatever the case maybe, one and only one episode aired.
