• The English language track for this film was created first; unlike almost every other anime in existence, English is Bloodlust's original dialogue.

• The word "dunpeal" is the closest possible phonetic transposition of the word "dhampir" (which means half-human, half-vampire) in Japanese, which lacks distinction between the "l" and "r" consonant sounds.
