Synopsis for
Equilibrium (2002)

John Preston (Christian Bale) is a high ranking Cleric of the Tetragrammaton, master of the art of gunkata. His sworn mission: To prevent the spread of human emotions by any means possible, as they've been singled out as the root of all mankind's atrocities.

But when Preston misses his regular dose of Prozium, a drug that suppresses strong feelings, his world starts to change. He finds himself walking the line between being an agent of the law, and working as a tool of the underground revolution that is trying to bring emotion back to the world.
