Trivia:

Lt Mulcahy (Jill Hennessy) meets a similar fate to that of her character in Law and Order (Kincaid), where she is killed in a car accident.

Goofs:

Errors in geography: Although the film is set in Detroit, there are at least two instances of shots that show that Hamilton, Ontario is standing in for the Motor City. Early in the film, when Boyd and his partner are driving through "Detroit", there is a clearly visible marquee showing the logo of Skydome, a stadium in Toronto. Just as the movie ends, in the street scene where Boyd departs, the bar across the street has a sign with the letters "L.L.B.O.," for Liquor Licensing Board of Ontario, on it. During the chase Tim Horton's is visible, too (this particular store is located at the corner of Hughson and King Street East in Hamilton, Ontario).

Watchable, but very forgettable Movie

Seagal plays he usual style role of a renegade cop with no respect for authority. DMX is a gangster with whom Seagal teams up with to find out who has stolen fifty kilos of heroin from the vaults of a Detroit police vault.

The teaming up of a hard cop and a hard gangster in a different take on the buddy cop genre was a nice idea, but it raises too many plot flaws and the duo don't have the comedy timing to make it work well.

Exit Wounds does entertain with it's action and thrills, but its ultimately forgettable.
