We see a butt of a giant baby.

Haku (dragon form) gets chased by paper birds who cut him. His blood splatters everywhere in the room (over the walls, etc). His mouth also bleeds. A very bloody scene for a PG film. The scene is quite long, too. The sound of blood being sat out is also heard.

The No-Face character at one point goes on a rampage. Not only may he upset younger viewers, but he eats some of the charcters. These characters are later thrown-up by No-Face as he vomits.

Yubaba says "I'll rip your mouth" to Sen.

One character smokes a cigarette.

Kamiji has an ash tray with cigarettes in it.

Yubaba smokes a cigarette, smoke goes everywhere.

One character tells a customer that he can buy sake.

The scene where No-Face goes berserk is quite frightening. He chases the girl. He also eats people.

Some spirits are quite grotesque and scary.

One jump moment is when Chihiro slips while going down the stairs.

This film has a supernatural theme and a disturbing content, so you must expect some scary moments with weird creatures and bizarre stuff (girl's parents turning into pigs, giant baby, etc).

There is some menace and threatening scenes.

When Chihiro's parents are turned into pigs it is quite frightning and disturbing.
