Vomit-inducing gore-fest will shock and amaze!, 18 August 2002

The FACES OF GORE series just keeps getting better and more disgusting with every sequel. This time out, we are treated to a live third world back-room abortion, fishing dead babies out of the river, maggot-faced bloated corpses dredged out of the swamp, a cannibal serial killer holds a woman at knife-point before fleeing police and winding up torn apart in an elevator shaft, a man eaten alive by pirahna in the Amazon, and lots more hideous gore! I could only watch this in fifteen minute intervals it was so gross. I eventually got through it after only barfing twice, haha! This series delivers the gore groceries in spades, and serves 'em up with a sick sense of humor that some will find hilarious and others offensive as hell. The end credits promise a "BEST OF FACES OF GORE" is coming soon! As the man said in ROBOCOP, "I'll buy that for a dollar!"

Don't waste your money on this DVD. I think i'm most annoyed because the DVD it was pressed on could have been used to make a copy of a good film like Rocky or Goodfellas. The footage is all blurry and goes on for too long, me and my friend sat there talking through most of it as it was so utterly dull. The narrator needs to get a grip on reality and come out from his parents basement. The host is the funniest thing as he's such a terrible presenter, could it be more obvious that he's reading a cue card? This honestly has to be one of the worst and most boring things i've had to watch and i've reviewed bad movies for websites! If you do buy it just throw it straight in the bin when it turns up.
