Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

Note: The number at the beginning of each section refers to how much explicit content of that kind there is in the film on a scale of 1-10. The fraction at the end of the last section is the total sum of the sections over the highest sum possible (50) and is therefore an approximation of about how explicit the film is a whole.

Sex & Nudity: 3

A hospital employee sells sex with a woman in a coma to a man: we see the man climb on top of the woman, he makes sexual remarks and moves close to kiss her.

Violence & Gore

Violence & Gore: 10

-A woman, bruised and bloody, is shot in the head.

-Two women fight inside a family home. Kicks, punches, throws and knives are used resulting in bloody injuries and considerable damage to personal property. After a brief recess, the fight continues with a gun and a knife resulting in a death while a little girl watches.

-A crime scene with multiple murders and considerable blood is examined. A survivor spits on an investigator.

-A woman is threatened with a poisonous injection.

-A woman bites a man's tongue so severely that it leaves them both bloody and him unconscious.

- A man has his tendons slashed and is killed by having his head slammed with a door repeatedly.

-An anime scene of a fight involving four men and a woman using hands, feet, and knives results in gruesome bodily injury and showers of blood. A daughter witnesses the death of her parents with their blood dripping onto her face. The scene ends in arson.

-An anime scene shows a young girl stabing her sexual assailant releasing a huge spray of blood. Two other men are shot with a pistol destroying legs and heads with even more spurting blood.

-An anime scene shows a sniper rifle bullet passing through a mans head. Two women look through the huge hole and scream.

-A teenage girl in a school uniform stabs a teenage boy causing a huge spray of blood.

-A man is beheaded whilst seated at a table, a huge, almost comical fountain of blood erupting from the neck

-A woman has her arm chopped off and flails about spraying blood everywhere. A woman dispatches several people with a sword. A teenage girl armed with a ball and chain fights with a woman carrying a sword. A woman is killed with a table leg with nails in it resulting in gruesome bleeding through the eyes. A woman wielding a sword clashes with a small army of men armed with various weapons resulting in much murder, mayhem, and bloodletting. The resulting carnage shows a dance floor full of people either dead or writhing in their own blood.

-Two women wielding swords engage in combat resulting in deep gashes. A woman is scalped by a sword swing. There is a brief shot of her exposed brain as her scalp was cut so cleanly.

-A maimed woman lies in the trunk of a car as another woman threatens her with further damage. She is rolled down a small slope.

Profanity

Infrequent very strong profanity throughout, 18 uses of f--k and 2 uses of c--t, also milder profanities such as s--t

Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking: 3

Characters are seen infrequently smoking and drinking.

Frightening/Intense Scenes: 6

The film's violence is stylized. However the frequency and bloody nature of the violence may be disturbing for viewers.

An idea of how accurate the TECE (below) is: 5-10 is a little-kid suitable, G-Rated type of film (i.e. Care Bears, Sleeping Beauty); 10-15 is going to be a little harsher, but not by much (i.e. The Incredibles); 15-20 could be pretty high up there (i.e. Indiana Jones), 20-25 is going to pretty darn adult (i.e. The Dark Knight); 25-30 is going to be a film most likely not suitable for anyone under 17 (i.e. Braveheart); 30-40 is going to be an absolutely, positively adults-only film (i.e. THIS), and over 40 is going to be hard R to NC-17 (i.e. Pulp Fiction).

Total Explicit Content Estimation: 31/50.
