Universal Studios Home Entertainment has unveiled the trailer for the upcoming “Smokin’ Aces 2: Assassins’ Ball,” a prequel to Joe Carnahan’s kinetic hitman flick.
“Smokin’ Aces 2″ synopsis: Federal agents once again match wits with a cadre of creative killers in the high-octane feature-length film Smokin’ Aces 2: Assassins’ Ball. Walter Weed (Tom Berenger) is an unassuming desk jockey at the FBI when the Bureau uncovers a plot to assassinate him. A team of degenerate, psychotic assassins dispatched by mystery man Hal Leuco to win a huge bounty includes a resourceful beauty who has a unique method of killing her prey (Martha Higareda), a power-tool wielding psychopath (Vinnie Jones) and a deadly master of disguise (Tommy Flanagan). Also in the hunt is the fan-favorite Tremor family from the original film, featuring nymphomaniacal gun-nut (Autumn Reeser) and her lethal kinfolk (Maury Sterling, Michael Parks and C. Ernst Harth). First (Good) Look At The A-Team?

I love it when ‘A Team’ comes together!
Yesterday, Entertainment Tonight did a behind-the-scenes report on the upcoming TV show-turned-movie The A-Team. The footage was mostly uninteresting fluff but there was a quick glimpse of Quinton “Rampage” Jackson acting like “B.A.” Baracus. It was slightly cringe-worthy but I think it wasn’t a true take and only represented a rehearsal moment. However, it did give fans a chance to see what B.A. will look like, because up to now, we’ve only gotten paparazzi pictures.
As you can see from the above header, that may no longer be the case. Courtesy of Peter Sciretta at /Film, we have what Could Be the first true look at all four members of The A-Team. Sciretta points us to /Film reader, Dr. Malo, and his website, which is all in Spanish but thanks to iGoogle Translator, we find out Malo reportedly

Right off the bat, I want to make it clear that you don't have to be half-baked to enjoy Half Baked. But if you thought Pineapple Express was hilarious, and you haven't seen Half Baked, it's high time you rectify this problem. Sure, Pineapple Express had James Franco as a drug dealer slash nice Jewish boy overly concerned with his Bubbe, and it had Danny McBride wigging out in his normal (i.e. awesome) way, and yeah, it was almost the perfect stoner crime caper.
But Half Baked has all that and more! It has Dave Chappelle as both a janitor at a lab that just happens to produce pharmaceutical-grade marijuana and a hip-hop star named Sir Smoke-a-Lot who, when high, complains, cries, and complains that he needs a "backiotomy." It has Guillermo Diaz as Scarface, who wants you to know he's Cuban, B! And it has Jim Breuer in

We recently got a look at the entire main cast of "The A-Team" and now we have two photos of Jessica Biel on a German airport set in Vancouver. She is playing the role of an Army general and the ex-love of Bradley Cooper's Faceman character in pursuit of the team. Check the photos out below. The story focuses on four wrongly convicted veterans, who escape from prison to become do-gooder mercenaries. In addition to Cooper and Biel, the film also stars Liam Neeson as Hannibal, Sharlto Copley (District 9) as Murdock, and Quinto "Rampage" Jackson as BA Baracus. The new movie is directed by Joe Carnahan (Smokin' Aces, Narc), who has promised for the tone to be less silly and more slick. It is scheduled to hit theaters on June 11th, 2010. Liam Neeson as Zeus in Clash of the Titans

On top of still being attached to star as Abraham Lincoln in Steven Spielberg's potential Lincoln biopic, Liam Neeson has attached himself to three potentially huge upcoming pictures.
First there is the remake Clash of the Titans in which he will star as Zeus, which Entertainment Weekly revealed the images you see above of him in his armor. Clash of the Titans hits theaters on March 26, 2010.

Then there was the attachment to The A-Team directed by Joe Carnahan (Narc) in which Neeson will play the part of John 'Hannibal' Smith as originally played by George Peppard in the popular 1980s television show. Images from the set appeared online late last week as you can see pictured above. The A-Team hits theaters on June 11, 2010.

It’s an A-Team kind of week. With our first look at the cast of The A-Team last week, fans were crying for some more. (Not me, I was content with one grainy unofficial image…)
Check out the first picture of Jessica Biel as General Hot Stuff in the upcoming big-screen adapation of the iconic ’80s television show.
Biel is coming off her direct-to-video internet search sensation Powder Blue and is playing U.S. Army general hot on the trail of the mercenaries. She’s also the ex-lover of Faceman, played by The Hangover’s Bradley Cooper.
The film centers on a group of convicted war vets who escape prison and become mercenaries. Directed by Joe Carnahan (Narc), the film stars Bradley Cooper (Faceman), Liam Neeson ( Hannibal), Sharlto Copley (Murdock) and bad ass Quinto “Rampage” Jackson as B.A. Baracus.
The A-Team arrives in theaters on June 11, 2010.

Patrick Wilson (Watchmen, Hard Candy) is set to join the cast of “The A-Team” as a CIA operative, according to Entertainment Weekly. Wilson will be possibly assigned to hunt down the war vets convicted of a crime they didn’t commit and are now on the run as fugitives while helping the oppressed seek justice. He is joining Liam Neeson (John “Hannibal” Smith), Bradley Cooper (Templeton “Face” Peck), Sharlto Copley (H.M. “Howling Mad” Murdock), Quinton “Rampage” Jackson (B.A. Baracus) and Jessica Biel (Faceman’s ex-flame).
The story keeps the premise of the classic 80’s TV series but will take a more serious tone with the story of four war vets wrongly convicted of armed robbery escape from a military prison to become mercenaries helping the impoverished.

On the heels of District 9’s Sharlto Copley joining The A-Team and Jessica Biel in talks to play the hottest general since George C. Scott, Patrick Wilson has decided he too would like a piece of the action.
Wilson is set to play a CIA agent in the upcoming big-screen adaptation of the ’80s television hit and is rumored to be the film’s central villain. The Watchmen star will be joining an already heavy-esque cast featuring the likes of Liam Neeson, Quntin “Rampage” Jackson and The Hangover’s breakout star Bradley Cooper.
The film will be directed by Joe Carnahan (Narc) with a script from Skip Woods (X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Hitman, Swordfish).

SplashNews has scooped the first shots from the British Columbia Interior location of The A-Team, showing the iconic van being used in a chase scene. You can check out the larger photos of the van below.
Meanwhile, Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Patrick Wilson (Watchmen) will appear in the film as a CIA operative. Wilson joins Liam Neeson (John "Hannibal" Smith), Bradley Cooper (Templeton "Face" Peck), Sharlto Copley (H.M. "Howling Mad" Murdock), Quinton "Rampage" Jackson (B.A. Baracus) and Jessica Biel (Faceman's ex-flame).
Director Joe Carnahan (Smokin' Aces, Narc) and the Scott brothers promise to "slick up" their action film adaptation of the '80s series. In the original story, four Vietnam vets convicted of armed robbery escape from military prison and became do-gooder mercenaries.
The Middle East will replace Vietnam as the place the four did their tour of duty, but Carnahan said the origin story is the jumping-off point.

The A-Team cast is growing. After recently adding Jessica Biel and Sharlto Copley as an army general pursuing the team and "Howling Mad" Murdock, respectively, Entertainment Weekly reports that Patrick Wilson (Watchmen) is joining the cast as a CIA operative. More than likely, Wilson will be aiding the group of vets accused of a crime they didn't commit, as they attempt to escape capture from Biel and her team.
Necessary in any good A-Team mission is the group's van, and ComingSoon has a photo of the van currently being used in the movie's production in Vancouver. Fans of the TV show will no doubt be pleased by the almost identical nature of the new van, though reportedly the movie version plans to stray from the sometimes silly tone of the TV show for a more serious one.

Today we have a double whammy of new items from the upcoming movie version of the classic 80s TV series, The A-Team. They are a new piece of casting news (don’t worry, none of the already announced actors have been replaced!) and our very first look at the famous A-Team black-with-red-stripe-van.
First up, let’s take a look at the new A-Team van, by way of a photo from the set (from SplashNews) where the movie is currently filming in Vancouver. Die hard fans of the original series will be pleased to know that the new van isn’t all that different from the original (I mean generally - I suspect die hards will nitpick…), which I don’t think is much a problem since that was one of the less cheesier things from the series. It can easily be transferred almost identically to the 21st century movie update and work just as well.
