British funnyman Rowan Atkinson's bad motor luck appears to have struck again after his car caught fire in the early hours of Friday.
The auto enthusiast, who found international fame as the hapless Mr Bean, was left with cuts and bruises in August after driving his expensive Audi convertible into a garbage truck outside his home in Northants, England.
And the actor appeared to revert back to his clumsy alter-ego once again when the engine in his vintage racing car burst into flames - while it was parked on a London street.
An onlooker tells WENN, "All the paparazzi were waiting outside Cipriani restaurant for Robert Downey, Jr. to come out when the engine caught on fire just down the street. Rowan lifted up the hood and tried to put out the flames with a fire extinguisher, but ended up having to call for roadside assistance."
Atkinson was later spotted taking luggage out of the vintage Jaguar as he waited for a tow-truck.
The Johnny English star has also had accidents in his $160,000 (£100,000) Aston Martin V8 Zagato and another in his $1 million (£625,000) McLaren F1.

You could do a lot worse than casting John Malkovich as your villain, but in the interest of fairness - Teddy Kgb. Malkovich is one of those actors who is somehow better than the good material he's given and often worse than the bad material he's given. Probably has to do with getting or not getting the proper guidance for his character within the framework of the movie as a whole, and some directors can communicate that better than others. Then again, there's no reason he had to say yes to Johnny English, but whatever; I'm getting sidetracked.
Malkovich Malkovich Malkovich is the latest name on the Spider-Man 4 rumor mill, according to Movieline, who has him slated to play The Vulture aka Adrian Toomes. He's not a villain on the same level as Green Goblin, but I will say it's good casting if it's true. Marvel describes Toomes as

If there’s one thing John Malkovich does well – does really well – it’s give good villain. This, after all, is the man who was Cyrus ‘The Virus’ Grissom in Con Air, and the chameleonic assassin Booth in In The Line Of Fire. And who can forget his spine-chilling turn as Pascal Sauvage, the Greedy Frenchman in the epoch-making comedy, Johnny English?Yep, nobody does a nice line in on-screen evil quite like Malcatraz, and that’s something Sam Raimi knows all too well. After all, Raimi offered Malkovich the role of the Green Goblin in Spider-Man waaaaaaay back in 2001. For whatever reason – he was booked up, he didn’t like the script, he didn’t like the costume – Malkovich passed on the role, leaving it to Willem Dafoe to snap it up and try desperately to act while stranded in a completely expressionless helmet roughly the size of a small fridge.

The UK-based film company plans a sequel to the 2003 Rowan Atkinson-starring spy spoof, as well as a new adaptation of John le Carré's Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy
Bad news for anyone who thought that Johnny English's licence had been revoked. The Guardian can exclusively reveal that the bumbling British spy is set for another mission, with Rowan Atkinson in talks to reprise his role from the 2003 comedy.
The Johnny English sequel forms part of a raft of new projects from the UK-based film company Working Title, explained chairman Tim Bevan. Also in the pipeline from the firm behind such global hits as Bridget Jones's Diary and Notting Hill is a film version of John le Carré's Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy, to be directed by the Swedish director Tomas Alfredson from a script by Peter Morgan. Alfredson won rave reviews earlier this year for his 80s-set vampire

I am an anglophile. I will own up to that straight out of the gate. I grew up watching every BBC program offered by my local PBS station. That’s how I came to start my lifelong relationship with Monty Python. That’s where my fascination with Red Dwarf began. That’s how I came across Rowan Atkinson’s gem of a series Black Adder. Brit humor fans click to find more after the jump.
I was shocked, utterly dismayed actually, by the number of my friends who consider themselves pop culture princes and princesses and yet weren’t familiar with the masterpiece that is Black Adder. For those similarly uninitiated, Black Adder encompasses four series, each series containing six episodes a piece. Each series is set in a specific time period and follows the Blackadder that lives during that age. While the exact characters differ between series the actor and name stays consistent.

Fresh off the set in New York come a slew of photos of Samuel L. Jackson and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson from the upcoming Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg buddy-cop comedy, The Other Guys. Those familiar with Johnson’s film repertoire might be surprised to find that there is not single tutu, fairy costume or alien child associated with this latest role.
The film is a collaboration between Adam McKay (Anchorman, Step Brothers) and Chris Henchy. The pair recently worked with Henchy writing and McKay producing this summers Land of the Lost.
Set in New York City, The Other Guys follows Detective Allen Gamble (Ferrell), a forensic accountant who’s more interested in paperwork than hitting the streets, and Detective Terry Hoitz (Wahlberg), who has been stuck with Allen as his partner ever since an embarrassing public incident with his quick trigger finger. Allen and Terry idolize the city’s top cops,

British funnyman Rowan Atkinson has wrecked his car without even leaving home - the star reportedly smashed up his luxury vehicle on his own driveway.
The actor, who found international fame as the hapless Mr Bean, seems to have taken inspiration from his clumsy alter-ego after he drove his expensive Audi convertible into a dustcart right outside his house in Northants, England.
Atkinson is said to have suffered bruising to his face and ribs following the incident, according to Britain's The Sun newspaper.
It's not the first time the Johnny English star has smashed up a luxury car, he has had two minor accidents in his $160,000 (£100,000) Aston Martin V8 Zagato and another in his $1 million (£650,000) McLaren F1.

Australian actress/singer Natalie Imbruglia has sparked rumours of another celebrity romance after she was snapped enjoying a night out with Jamiroquai frontman Jay Kay.
The Torn singer split from her musician husband Daniel Johns in January after five years of marriage and has since been linked to Kings of Leon drummer Nathan Followill and British royal Prince Harry.
The Johnny English star was spotted on Thursday evening with Jay Kay at London nightspot the Groucho Club.
The pair left the club separately, with Imbruglia jumping in a taxi alone, but their plan was foiled when Jay Kay was spotted hopping in the car further down the road.
A witness tells British tabloid News of the World, "They looked gutted their plan didn't work but ended up smiling."

We might know him now as Aro in The Twilight Saga: New Moon, but the world might soon know Michael Sheen as Ernst Stavros Blofeld in the next James Bond film.
At least, that's the sentiment of one writer at Empire.
Says Chris Hewitt at Empire,
The as-yet untitled Bond 23 (relax, folks; just a working title, although we like the idea of that being the actual title) is gathering pace. Today, MGM and Bond flame-keepers, Eon, announced the writing team for the new Daniel Craig-led mission, and there was a bit of a surprise.
Not in the announcement that Johnny English writers, Neal Purvis and Robert Wade would return for more Bondage – as walking 007 encyclopaedias, they’ve been on board since The World Is Not Enough - but the news that Frost/Nixon writer Peter Morgan has come on to fill Paul Haggis’ shoes in the role of Proper,

In a not-so-surprising report, three people latch themselves on to pen the 23rd installment of the popular James Bond movie franchise. Returning writers Robert Wade and Neal Purvis, who co-wrote the four most recent Bond flicks, team up with Peter Morgan (Frost/Nixon) to bring the british secret agent into more dangerous adventures. Daniel Craig, who played the dashing agent 007 in Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace, will be making his return back into the coveted role.
Purvis and Wade have both shared great credit for penning other features such as Johnny English. After wrapping up the two movie story arc from Royale and Solace, the possible plot details are completely open in the imaginations of these three screen writers. Producers of this MGM film will also be Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson.

Oscar nominated screenwriter Peter Morgan has signed on to pen the latest installment of the James Bond franchise for MGM. He’ll be joined by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, the writing duo that has co-written the past four 007 films.
The three writers will collaborate on the screenplay for the 23rd Bond film, which will once again star Daniel Craig as Agent 007. The triple hiring fits the pattern of the two most recent pictures, Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace, which saw Purvis and Wade drafting the initial script and Oscar-winning Crash writer-director Paul Haggis coming on to augment it.
Morgan, who wrote both the play and film Frost/Nixon and The Last King of Scotland and The Queen, has most recently been working on The Special Relationship for HBO, and Hereafter for DreamWorks. He'll begin writing on the Bond film after completing those projects.

Movies That Deserve a Second Life: Comedy Edition

Welcome to another edition of Movies That Deserve a Second Life. If you need a refresher on what I’m referring to by “second life,” check out the Action/Adventure Edition. If you’re caught up, read on to see what funny flics I felt were unfairly ignored/disliked upon its release or have been forgotten in the years since its release.
Comedy is almost certainly the most subjective of all genres. What makes one person laugh is guaranteed to make another yawn or wrinkle his/her brow. Some find juvenilia in poor taste while others bust a gut. Everyone claims to have a sense of humor, but almost no one enjoys every type of humor there is, from dry wit and pungent satire to bodily fluid gags and intentionally groan-worthy puns. Therefore, I think it’s safe to say that no one (besides myself) will be satisfied with every choice.
