Gorgeous Kim Basinger is to play Al Pacino's lover in the true-life story of a top New York publicist. The pair will star in the drama People I Know. The film is loosely based on the activities of flamboyant Sixties wheeler-dealer Bobby Zarem. The film will also feature Tea Leoni, and will mark the comeback of Ryan O'Neal. It will be made later this year , and according to insiders is about "politics, drugs and scandals". Zarem is understood to have had a say in the content. A senior source says, "The fascinating thing will be how people will be able to spot themselves in the story. "This isn't so much about the image makers, it's more about those desperate to hold on to their images. Nobody escapes pain." »
