Crazy credits for
"Dragon Ball" (1986/I) More at IMDbPro »

  • When FUNimation redubbed the original Dragon Ball in 2000, they kept the Japanese intro/outro credit songs, and had English speakers sing them. This was the first time FUNimation kept music from the Japanese version of a Dragon Ball series.
  • The intro sequence that accompanied the 1995 dub was a hodgepodge of scenes from the first two movies, footage from the series itself, and footage from the intros/outros of the series. Curiously, much of the footage shown (particularly the movie footage) was never shown on TV at the time.
  • While the series had multiple credit opening sequences, all DVDs just feature the same intro - the one used when the series first came on the air.
