Billy Bob Thornton is the foul-mouthed, sex-crazed, child-hating, hard-drinking safecracker who plays the rattiest, most misanthropic department store Santa in creation in Terry Zwigoff’s anti-holiday film. It's part of his cover with his partner in crime (Tony Cox), a midget who plays Santa’s Little Helper while masterminding the holiday heist of their department story, until he becomes the most unlikely father figure to a sad-sack only child (Brett Kelly). Lauren Graham, Bernie Mac, and John Ritter (in his last film role) co-star. The new director's cut is actually shorter than both the previously released theatrical version and the extended unrated cut.
