Storyline

After penniless cook Matt Landis marries businessman Victor Pellet's spoiled daughter Alex, they agree to save money for his dream to start his own restaurant by moving in with the Pellets. For 'outsider' Matt, this starts years of aggravation, mainly because Alex's dad is domineering and remains overprotective, with a strong hold over his daughter. Furthermore various habits and attitudes keep clashing. Written by KGF Vissers

Quotes

Alex: One time, one of my Dad's favorite armed truck guards left a bag of money on the curb and he forgot to tell him. My Dad was so hurt and so betrayed he couldn't even speak. He just stared into space and started singing. After that, the guard was dead to him.
Matt: Was he dead to anyone else?

Will be cancelled soon. Simply too cliched/awful!

Why do networks show us repetitive 'comedies' such as this? How could the actors be sincere when they talked about this show in the promos? Surely they understood how bad it was?!

Hackneyed predictable storyline, and a host of the same situations seen over and over again since the 1970s....
