  • Continuity: Towards the end of the movie, a bus approaches. The first shot of the bus shows the driver to be a man without any facial hair. The next time we see him he has a very long beard and has gained a lot of weight.

  • Continuity: When McPherson and the police open the back door of the 18-wheeler trailer, there are at least four people standing directly at the doors with guns at the ready. In the next shot, the car comes out of the trailer, and only one person (McPherson) is behind the doors.

  • Revealing mistakes: When Shane and Ford are racing through the rally back to her place, she is wearing only a hooded sweatshirt with her hair hanging down. No matter how fast she goes, her hair and hood never move.

  • Continuity: In the freeway chase, as the Humvee flips, it is going at an angle. But as it is approaching the Porsche and is about to crash, the Humvee looks as if it was dropped from above.

  • Continuity: At the very end of the movie (late afternoon), they say they are going to go south to Mexico and they say, "Let's Ride." The next (and very last) shot of the movie shows them driving in the desert, but the shadows are pointing to the right, indicating they are going straight north. If they had been driving the next morning, this would be okay but there is no indication between these two shots that a night has passed.

  • Continuity: When Junior storms into the club where the band is playing, the camera pans up and over the audience where you can see the band standing around motionless on stage. The next shot is of the band jumping around and rocking out in time with the music.

  • Continuity: When Ford mounts the jet-powered bike to chase after Henry James, he is not wearing sunglasses. In the next shot, as the engine kicks over, he is.

  • Continuity: Ice Cube is seen on his own bike on the highway chase seen when Ford and Shane are in the car. The problem is, Ice Cube's bike has already been destroyed by the train and he is suppose to be riding Ford's bike.

  • Continuity: When Ford jumps on the new motorcycle near the end, he is headed out the garage door. In the next shot, he is airborne and going through a window.

  • Continuity: During the initial desert race sequence, a tortoise is seen walking through the cars at the starting line. In the next shot however, the tortoise is gone.

  • Continuity: When the bikers tear out of the desert diner, only their tracks are visible, not the cars' that tore out earlier.

  • Factual errors: When the speed bikes get off road, you can clearly see that they're in fact two strokes dirt bikes and that they're covered by a fake fairing so they look like sport bikes.

  • Factual errors: When Agents Henderson and McPherson are chasing Trey and Ford, Agent McPherson says "Thank God for Airbags!" The Hummer H1 is not equipped with airbags, and there weren't any that deployed in the scene. In a rollover crash the only airbags to deploy would be side curtain air bags, which again, are not available options on the H1.

  • Continuity: When Trey and Ford are riding atop the train, and they jump off, Trey gets stuck underneath his bike. Ford saves him, and they go on opposite sides of the train. The train hit Trey's bike, blowing it to pieces. During one of the next scenes, Trey is seen on the same bike that got blown up.

  • Continuity: In the scene when the group is being chased by the Reapers through "The Palms", the bikes change from actual sport bikes, to "SuperMoto" bikes dressed up to resemble the sport bikes. A Supermoto bike is essentially a dirt bike, usually 4 stroke, with street bike rims and tires, that usually race on tracks made mostly of asphalt. This would have been done to allow the bikes to be jumped in the several scenes, something which could not have been done with regular sport bikes.

  • Continuity: When they get in the trailer with the race car at the gas station they close the door behind them, but there is no way for them to latch it. In a later scene when the truck driver is asked to open the trailer by McPherson he notices the lock is gone but the latch is secured in place.

  • Continuity: At the scene when McPherson and police open the back doors of the 18 Wheeler trailer, there are at least four people standing directly at the doors with their weapons ready. In the next shot the car comes out of the trailer, and only one person (McPherson) is seen behind the doors.

  • Continuity: When Ford jumps onto the jet bike and starts it, a pair of sunglasses instantly appear on his face, without him taking his hands off the handlebars.

  • Continuity: In the scene where Ford and Trey are riding along the top of the train, the shadows of the train repeatedly switch from the right to left side and back again.

  • Revealing mistakes: In the first scene at the desert race, when he presses the right lever in the handle bar, the back wheel blocks, but in a motorcycle the back brake is on the right foot and not in the right hand.

  • Crew or equipment visible: In the part where Trey is giving orders to his group, and they say "amen", you can see the whole filming crew in the right side of the image.
