Similar to the situation with the prequel - xXx - the British Board of Film Classification insisted on cuts for the BBFC-12 rating and therefore one scene had to be altered in order to obtain this rating. Unfortunately, Sony used this British master for all their home media releases throughout Europe. You can find a detailed comparison between both versions here.
