The Aviator (2004) More at IMDb Pro »

The content of this page was created directly by users and has not been screened or verified by IMDb staff.
Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this new feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes .

Sex & Nudity

A man and a woman lie together on a couch; They kiss and the man caresses her back.

A man caresses a woman's thigh and says that he wants to know what "pleases" her.

A man slips his hand into a woman's dress and caresses her breast.

A man is nude in a couple scenes; Buttocks visible in a few shots.

9-year-old Howard Hughes is shown receiving a bath. We do not see any private parts but we do see close-ups of Howard Hughes' mother wiping soap across his bare flesh.

Men discuss women's breasts in slang and dictionary terms and examine photos of 1930/40's era movie women's cleavage.

Violence & Gore

An intense crash scene. A man crashes an airplane into a neighborhood, tearing apart several houses. He screams. The airplane catches on fire, and he starts coughing in the smoke. When he gets out, he is severely burnt and unconscious.

Profanity

1 use of "fuck", many other, milder profanities such as "goddamn" or "shit".

Lots of smoking and drinking of alcoholic beverages.
