• Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): When changing the tire on Alice's car Bill puts the lugs back on backwards.
  
  
• Continuity: In the pool scene when Alice goes into the water she is wearing eye makeup, mascara. In the next couple of shots we see her swimming under the water and she doesn't have mascara on. Then she pops up out of the water and mascara is smeared all around her eyes.
  
  
• Errors in geography: When stopped at the North Carolina rest stop, there is an historical road marker clearly visible mid-frame. However, it is not a NC road marker, which are gray background with black print. This one is brown with gold print and a star.
  
  

• Crew or equipment visible: Just after entering Alabama, there is a shot of Bill driving the RV. The camera and camera mount are visible reflected in the window.
  
  
• Revealing mistakes: During the shot in which Bill is trying to take the gun from Alice, there is a close-up of the gun as it is fired. In the shot, the hammer never falls to fire the round, yet we see the gun-flash. It is obvious that the "flash" is simply a strobe set off to simulate the gun-flash.
  
  
• Revealing mistakes: The New Hampshire Divers license that Alice has shows her date of birth to be "09/26/1992" and the issue date to be "09/26/2001". This would mean that Alice was only nine years old when the state issued her the license, and only about eleven when the movie was released.
  
  
• Factual errors: Alice's Drivers license shows an address in Milford, New Hampshire with a zip code of 03465. The actual zip code for Milford is 03055. 03465 is the zip code for Troy, New Hampshire.
