A man performs unsimulated oral sex on another man in the opening scene of the film.

A man takes an erect penis out of his jeans and a woman performs oral sex on him (seems to be simulated); the woman is later seen with what looks to be semen in and around her mouth.

Nearly non-stop nudity from both the female and male leads. There are numerous close-ups of female genitalia (supposedly a body double of the lead actress, as indicated by the disclaimer before the film), and the male lead graphically smears lipstick on these areas. The male lead is also seen numerous times with an erect penis. The pair is frequently shown having sex, mostly simulated, but with some unsimulated portions as described below.

A few characters are briefly seen drinking and smoking.

A woman attempts suicide by slitting her wrist in a bathroom. The same woman is later seen slitting her throat with a razor in a dream sequence.

A young boy stomps on and kills a bird. Animal lovers will find this sequence difficult to watch.

The entire movie features very graphic and unusual sex scenes throughout which will be intense for most viewers.
