The steady direction of Jun-hwan Jeongs debut attempt in "Save the green planet!" (Jigureul jikyeora!) paces through an eerie combination of film genre spanning from dark comedy to suspenseful thriller. Transitioning from sure pacing and narration to livid confusion. Jeong sprints through a mesmerizing display of genres and plot additions with masterful experience and originality, leaving one dumbfounded. A myriad of emotion from adoration to sheer pity is experienced before the final twist is revealed for vilified anti-hero Lee Byeong-gu . This film excels far more than it falls short and where it falters is easily surpassed in originality and ingenuity. A true credit to Korean film and an exemplary step in the right direction to "good" movie-making.
