A new teaser site and twitter has been set up for the new series, Undercovers, being developed by Jj Abrams and his Bad Robot banner for NBC. The series plans to be a mix between the Bourne Identity and Mr. and Mrs. Smith. The show has already casted Boris Kodjoe as the male lead in the series as well as Gerald McRaney who will play the CIA handler for the couple. Jj Abrams plans to shepherd the series by directing its pilot episode. NBC has high hopes for the show winning a lucrative and intense bid for the project and needing a show like this to get back into the ratings race. In 2006 there was a series with similar concept on CBS called Smith but that series only lasted 7 episodes. Instead of spies, the series revolved around a crew of criminals. I am really looking forward to this series and »

I know what you're thinking... oh great, Tom Cruise in another spy movie. With Cameron Diaz. Mission: Impossible meets Mr. and Mrs. Smith, right? Well, not quite. After watching the trailer for Knight and Day, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the storyline wasn't entirely what I expected. It seems Cameron Diaz is just an innocent woman who happens to cross paths with a secret agent, and then gets dragged along for the ride. I was prepared to roll my eyes, but the tone of the movie is light and comedic, and the action still looks solid. This is the kind of action comedy I want to see... not Date Night with some crazy car chases added in! Although Tom Cruise still seems to be in a lot of people's shit books these days, he's still making good movies, and this looks like another perfect role for him if you ask me. »

Opens: 2010
Cast: Cillian Murphy, Sienna Miller, Max Minghella, Emma Booth, Lee Ingleby
Director: Beeban Kidron
Summary: Follows the love story of Oz editor Richard Neville and Louise Ferrier. Neville and his cohorts launch the London edition of Oz amidst the 1960s counterculture and are subsequently put on trial for distributing a sexually explicit issue.
Analysis: One of the most troubled productions in Working Title's history, 'Hippie' began development back in 1998 but failed to get beyond script stage both in 1999 and in 2002 when "Elizabeth" helmer Shekhar Kapur was attached to direct. Filming finally got underway late 2007 with director Beeban Kidron in charge and shooting seemed to proceed without issue aside from feminist author Germaine Greer being vehemently unhappy about being depicted on film.
Actually the film scored quite a bit of free press for a skinny dipping scene where full-frontal shots of actress Sienna Miller shooting the sequence »

The Hollywood actress – who raises six children with her long-term partner Brad Pitt – believes open romances can work just as well as monogamous relationships, if both partners agree to it. We've mentioned the trailer for Knight and Day a couple of times in the past few days, and now it's finally online. It was in theaters last weekend, and several days later, it's finally here for you.
The movie was called Wichita until about a month ago, and I preferred that, even though that's not a great name, either. But the trailer's Ok, more entertaining that I would have imagined. They're clearly going for a Mr. and Mrs. Smith vibe with it, but I don't think audiences will have the innate curiosity about Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz that they did Brangelina while that whole thing was bubbling to the surface.
But it's an action comedy; that much is clear. Maybe too much comedy, given the principals.

If you saw "Avatar" this past weekend then you probably saw this trailer for "Knight & Day." You might know the movie by its original working title, "Wichita." Cameron Diaz stars as a woman whose life is thrown into disarray when an ace secret agent, played by Tom Cruise, comes into her life. As you might expect, shenanigans ensue. As you'll see in this trailer, which I get a very "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" vibe from.

For those of you disappointed that Tom Cruise bailed on the upcoming action film Salt (Angelina Jolie took his place), we've got the trailer for the equally ridiculous-looking spy thriller Knight & Day (formerly Wichita), courtesy of E! Online. The movie reunites Cruise with his Vanilla Sky costar Cameron Diaz in a plot about a lovelorn woman romanced by a secret agent. And against her wishes, she ends up involved in his latest mission. On paper it sounds like 27 Dresses meets Mission: Impossible (with a little Bourne Identity mixed in), and unfortunately there's not much shown in this spot to make it look any better than that.
Given that it's directed by James Mangold (Walk the Line; 3:10 to Yuma) and features the always appealing Peter Sarsgaard, I'm trying to overlook the sitcom-friendly title, contrived premise and, most of all, Cruise's smiley performance, which seems to combine Ethan Hunt with Jerry Maguire. »

The Guinness Book of Records recently calculated that Emma Watson, of all seven Harry Potter movies fame, was the highest-grossing actress from 2000-2009, whose film work grossed $5.4 billion worldwide. The 19-year-old actress beat out the likes of Angelina Jolie (Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Wanted), Kate Winslet (The Reader, Revolutionary Road) and Meryl Streep (Mamma Mia,The Devil Wears Prada), whose movies were among the top grossing of the decade.
It’s hardly surprising that the actress who plays the adorably nerdy, incredibly talented Hermione Granger Expelliarmus-ed the competition — she obviously does that on a daily basis in Hogwarts, and Hollywood is no different. Since the release of the first movie, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, Watson’s stellar performance has put us in a Confundus Charm and made it impossible not to become immediately and unequivocally obsessed with her.

Just the other day…or was it night? Anywho, just recently we brought you the poster for the action comedy Knight And Day, which awkwardly added an extra “weapon” to Ms. Diaz’s arsenal (check that out Here). Now we bring you the trailer for the film which, I must admit, is a lot of fun! The film looks to be in the same vain as Mr. And Mrs. Smith and features Tom Cruise in a Mission Impossible-esque role while tickling that funny bone he proved he had in Tropic Thunder.

20th Century Fox has released a first look at the new trailer for "Knight & Day" starring Tom Cruise, Cameron Diaz, and Peter Sarsgaard, which is now playing in front of some prints of "Avatar."
Have a look at trailer below and let us know what you think.
"Knight & Day" is an action-comedy centered on a fugitive couple on a glamorous and sometimes deadly adventure where nothing and no one – even themselves – are what they seem. Amid shifting alliances and unexpected betrayals, they race across the globe, with their survival ultimately hinging on the battle of truth vs. trust. Something like Mr. and Mrs. Smith expect they aren't married.
The film hits theatres July 2, 2010.

Boris Kodjoe has landed the lead role in J.J. Abrams' next project, The Undercovers.
Abrams, of course, is responsible for a number of successful shows, most notably Alias and Lost. The upcoming NBC husband-and-wife NBC spy drama has been billed as a combination of Mr. and Mrs. Smith and The Bourne Identity.
Kodjoe will portray Steven, one half of the featured couple. On the small screen, the actor has appeared on Boston Public and Nip/Tuck.
Steven's wife, Samantha, has not yet been cast.
Earlier this week, Gerald McRaney was chosen to play the CIA operative that serves as the duo’s boss. »

Cast: Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, Zach Galifianakis, Bruce Greenwood, David Walliams
Director: Jay Roach
Summary: A renowned publisher encourages his friends to invite the most pathetic guests possible for their weekly dinner party. Just as they find the most pathetic man yet, the host is injured and ends up trapped with the man all night long.
Analysis: A remake of director Francis Veber's 1998 César award-winning "Le Diner des cons", 'Schmucks' is one of the highest profile comedies of next year with one of the strongest casts for the genre in recent memory. It also marks the return of "Austin Powers" and "Meet the Parents" helmer Jay Roach who has produced several films in recent years but hasn't directed since 2004's "Meet the Fockers".
The question now lies not in the performers or director but the material itself and whether a Gallic comedy can »

J.J. Abrams, a man chemically designed to create television shows, has another pilot in the works and this one will star veteran TV actor Gerald McRaney.
He's been picked for a pilot called Undercovers, a spy action show described as a cross between Mr. and Mrs. Smith and The Bourne Identity.
McRaney will play a CIA boss overseeing a husband and wife spy couple. Abrams wrote the pilot with TV scribe Josh Reims who's also written scripts for ABC's Brothers & Sisters and Dirty Sexy Money. Abrams may also step in the director's chair for the pilot episode commissioned by NBC.

He might not have won the entire competition, but Legacy certainly was the sentimental favorite of Sytycd's season 6. How could you not like the b-boy? He was less technically advanced than the other contestants, yet brought us some of the seasons most memorable performances. (The caveman hip-hop, Travis' Mr. and Mrs. Smith contemporary routine, etc.) And though we were surprised -- and sad -- to see him go, the b-boy opted to take a zen approach to his ouster. Shortly after being eliminated, Legacy called up EW to talk about why he wasn't sad to be eliminated, why he missed »

Brangelina's brood is a lot bigger than six. Hollywood power couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have reportedly been paying for the upkeep of seven children in an orphanage in Jordan.
New reports arise that the "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" co-stars are paying for three girls and four boys' food and clothing in an orphanage.
It was recently speculated that the duo were about to add another child to their rainbow brood when they were spotted visiting the Sos Children's Village in Amman last month. But the orphanage now reveals that Jolie has been paying for the care of the seven children since 2003.
Sos employee Aysha Shahin told mirror.co.uk that Jolie, whom she referred to as a "sweetheart" and one of their greatest supporters, may even buy a house for the children.

Fox, I'm not very happy about the fact that next week is the show's season finale, when there will still be six contestants remaining. That said, I've already chosen my favorite dancer, so maybe America's had enough time to make up its mind too (and a December 23 finale wouldn't be ideal, either). Actually, it's harder to decide who should be in the top six than who should win the title next week. Let's go through my predicted fates for them individually, shall we?
Ashleigh: Going home. Ok, I'm sorry she injured herself this week, but before she tragically dislocated her shoulder, I was ready for her to go home. I am also heartless.
Russell: Top six. Everyone is in love with him. Even Nigel called him "Sunshine" (slightly making up for that atrocity that was his leather-jacket-plus-off-white-shirt-and-tie ensemble). His Santa routine was hilarious, his Shane Sparks »

Not since "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" has a relationship been as entertainingly complicated as the one between Spencer Pratt and Al Roker.
Six months removed from Roker's rough "Today" show treatment of the MTV star and his wife, Heidi Montag, Pratt delivered a series of pointed barbs at the NBC morning-show co-host via Twitter on Monday.
The tweeted assault came after a Monday "Today" appearance by Pratt and Montag reportedly was canceled last-minute due to what show producers called a scheduling conflict.
Pratt's response was, well, barbed. »

Not much to say here other than this is a pretty bad movie poster. I'll remind you of the last two Angelina Jolie summer action movies, Mr. and Mrs. Smith and Wanted. Wanted had good posters all around, but nothing you'd call sensational. The Mr. and Mrs. Smith one, though, is instantly memorable, often imitated, and about everything you want from a movie with Brangelina.
This one for Salt, which comes courtesy of Jo Blo, just isn't getting it done. It's not a flattering photo of Jolie to start out with, and then they plaster text over her face. Really? Is that why your poster is just her face? Hmm.
