Trivia:
A character named Ellie, who was a demon Constantine dealt with early on, was almost completely cut from the film. Director Francis Lawrence stated that she was left on the cutting room floor because he wanted Constantine to be completely alone when he meets Angela. Ellie was played by Michelle Monaghan. Her scenes can be seen in the deleted scenes section of the DVD. In the theatrical cut, she can be seen briefly in the hospital scene; when Constantine sets off the sprinkler system, she's the one who exclaims, "Holy Water!"

Goofs:
Continuity: When Lucifer rids Constantine of his lung cancer he rips open his shirt but in the following scene when he goes to revive Angela his shirt is fully buttoned, devoid of any signs that it was ripped open.

Incoherent thriller that has Keanu Reeves in full matrix mold and making a complete fool out of himself with a pretty bad script. His performance is not very good and he's miscast for the role he is in. The other actors in the film, most noticeable Rachel Weisz ( She does give the best performance in this movie, she is that good), Djimon Hounsou and Tilda Swinton all do better than poor Keanu in there roles and manages to rise above some of the clichés and the flimsy plot to give solid performances but not even they can get pass the fact of how badly this film was made and how incoherent it really is. For their performance alone, the movie gets a star from me but don't expect much from the movie itself.
