Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

A man is seen lying in bed with a topless woman (her breasts are briefly seen twice).

At a party, some topless women are briefly seen.

Violence & Gore

Most of the violence takes place off-screen; however, there are instances of graphic violence throughout the movie.

One man shoots himself in the mouth and blood splats all over the wall.

A soldier is shot through the head and blood sprays out. A few other people are shot, but not too graphically.

In a make-shift hospital, amputated limbs are seen in a bowl on the floor. Blood is seen everywhere.

Profanity

Almost none; a few minor cuss words (since the film is in German, the words can be seen on the subtitles).

There is heavy drinking during the movie. It is implied that a man is snorting cocaine. Smoking occurs sporadically throughout the film.

The whole movie is extremely intense. The scene where the man shoots himself comes out of nowhere and is very disturbing. One scene when a group of children are killed with cyanide pills is the pinnacle of the films disturbing nature. The amputation scenes may be extremely brutal to some (there are two or three but one is off screen). On two of them you can see the surgeon using knives to cut through their arms or legs and since morphine is scarce they did it without any anesthetics (they scream in pain and one screams for his mother).
