"Ugly Betty" is doing a family casting once again after previously hiring Becki Newton's real-life brother Matt Newton to play the role of the uber-hot Troy. This time, the comedy series is welcoming Chris Williams, who by the last name, is known as the brother of Vanessa Williams aka Wilhelmina Slater.
Entertainment Weekly that got the scoop said Chris will be featured in an early 2010 episode as Willie's "drag queen doppelganger, Wilhediva Hater." According to a tipster, Willie is hearing that someone is impersonating her regularly as a drag in a club. Trying to shut the act down, she realizes that the impersonator could sub for her during meetings and events. They end up working together.
Chris Williams, although not as established as his sister, has starred in a lot of TV series and feature films. Naming some are "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation", "Californication", "Scary Movie 4", and "Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story

Ben Stiller Is A Lazy Bum. And This Trailer For Greenberg Proves It

Ben Stiller is my love / hate actor. I love it when he plays wacky characters like in Dodgeball and Tropic Thunder, but hate him when he plays himself in, oh...every single one of his romantic comedies. So I'm curious as to how he'll be in his new film "Greenberg" directed by Noah Baumbach, who directed The Squid and the Whale and also wrote The Fantastic Mr. Fox and The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou. He's a great writer and I really liked Squid and the Whale so I'm actually looking forward to this one.Ben Stiller playes Roger Greenberg, a New Yorker who moves to Los Angeles in order to figure out his life while he housesits for his brother, and he soon sparks with his brother's assistant. The film also stars Jennifer Jason Leigh who wrote it as well.Check out the trailer below.

‘Tucker & Dale vs. Evil’ Red Band Trailer

Horror and comedy are two of my favorite genres and just like a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup, I like when they are combined. Last month, Screen Rant writer Ross Miller did a series on horror films that were combined with other genres. One of those combinations was horror plus comedy and the movie he choose was Shaun of the Dead. Other great examples are the always popular Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness with Bruce “The Chin” Campbell.
Well today, courtesy of our friends at Bloody Disgusting, we have a new trailer for the upcoming horror/comedy film Tucker & Dale vs. Evil. If the film is half as funny as the trailer then I am really looking forward to seeing it. The movie stars Alan Tudyk (Firefly, Dodgeball) and Tyler Labine (Zack and Miri Make a Porno) as two redneck hillbillies that want to do nothing more than enjoy

He may be best known for shilling overpriced laptops and being crushed by a fat girl in Dodgeball, but Justin Long has landed a role that could solidly put him on the dramatic map. He's joining Robert Redford's The Conspirator, the story of a Confederate sympathizer (Robin Wright Penn) who was tried in the Lincoln assassination, and a Colonel who reluctantly defends her (James McAvoy). Long is set to play McAvoy’s best friend, a soldier who lost a limb in the war.

Classic Cameos: Lance Armstrong in 'Dodgeball'

With Charlton Heston's stint in Wayne's World 2, Jeffrey M. Anderson wrote about the cameos that take into account the celebrity's personality and comment on it. But I want to take it in a slightly different direction. Love him or hate him (as some commenters seem to), Lance Armstrong managed to take part in one of my favorite cameos, and when he got his shot on screen, he didn't just pop up to say something funny, or show up in the most unlikely of places. He was the only person truly suitable to shame Vince Vaughn's Peter Le Fleur in Dodgeball.
Right before the last big tournament game, Lafleur decides to quit, leaving his teammates stranded. He's drinking, fully wallowing in a self-pity party when he runs into Lance. Armstrong cannot believe Peter is quitting and quickly and casually lays a heap of guilt and shame on Lafleur's shoulders.

One week after the Fourth of July holiday, Hollywood is back at work and tweeting about it. Jon Favreau gave a status update from the “Iron Man 2” set, where he’s getting ready to shoot scenes with Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow now that Mickey Rourke is finished.
“Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World,” which is filming up in Toronto this summer, got some tweet defense today from creator Bryan Lee O’Malley, who was irked by online frustrations that the cast won’t be attending this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. The comic book writer and artist shared the simple scheduling conflict that’s keeping them Canada. You’ll find both of these posts, as well as Jeremy Piven’s heartfelt shout-out to Hayden Panettiere and Pen Jillette’s own defense of jury duty. It’s all below in the Twitter-Wood report for July 13, 2009.

Williams Supports Armstrong At Tour De France

Robin Williams visited France to support his cyclist pal Lance Armstrong's bid for an eighth Tour de France title.
The Mrs. Doubtfire funnyman arrived in the country to watch the ninth stage of the famous race as competitors battled to complete the tough stretch from Saint Gaudens to Tarbes.
And Williams took time out of cheering on Armstrong to pay tribute to the cancer survivor's determination to reclaim his crown as Tour de France's champion.
He told reporters, "He's a great friend and it's great to hang out with him. It's wild to see him back on the Tour.
"You'd think after seven wins he'd think 'c'est fini', but no, he is back for one more time. That is pretty ballsy. To race the Giro d'Italia and the Tour of California already this year, it's kind of great and he is doing it for many reasons which is wonderful to see."
Williams isn't Armstrong's only Hollywood pal to come and watch him from the sidelines - actor and Dodgeball co-star Ben Stiller supported the athlete in Marseilles last week.

Lance Armstrong Riding Into 'Dodgeball Sequel'?

As of this writing, Lance Armstrong trails in the Tour de France by only eight seconds. Not bad for a 37-year-old guy who hasn't ridden in that race in a few years. But the seven-time champ may be returning to another old stomping ground: Yahoo! reports that Ben Stiller is pitching Armstrong to sign up for a sequel to Dodgeball.
If you'll recall, Armstrong had a cameo in Dodgeball, encouraging Vince Vaughn to return to the tournament. It's not great news that Stiller is the one pushing for Armstrong's return, since Stiller was the worst thing about the first movie.
Armstrong Tweeted the news on Thursday: "Ben and I in the bus pre-race. In discussions re: the Dodgeball sequel. Could be huge."

I always wondered what would happen if you'd throw a space pilot pirate wannabe in a dilapidated shack with a technology-humping soul catcher. Apparently, it will make college kids think the poor saps are dangerous killers.
The Hollywood Reporter posts that Alan Tudyk (Serenity, Dodgeball) and Tyler Labine (Control Alt Delete, Reaper) have signed on to star in a new indie horror comedy called Tucker and Dale vs. Evil. The brainchild of writer/director Eli Craig (who also happens to be Sally Field's son), the film centers on Tucker (Tudyk) and Dale (Labine), "two good-natured hillbillies mistakenly accused of being psycho killers by a group of college kids camping at the same lake where the hillbillies have just acquired a dilapidated cabin as their 'summer home.'" Where the horror fits in is anyone's guess.
Chelan Simmons (Kyle Xy) blogged last month about the project and writes: "The movie

According to Yahoo, Lance Armstrong has been meeting with Ben Stiller to discuss a possible "Dodgeball" sequel. Armstrong blamed one of these meetings for being late for a sign-in at the Tour de France. He apologized to the fans and event organizers and later wrote on his Twitter account: "Sorry we were late for the sign on this am. It was Stiller's fault!!" The site added that the sequel will "be infused with cycling influences." In the original, Armstrong appeared as himself to lay a guilt trip on Vince Vaughn. Check out his clip from the movie below. Lance Armstrong is a better person than you are. Sure, you can go on and on about how he may have taken performance-enhancing drugs and such but even so, do you have cancer? Even if you do, have you won seven consecutive championships in whatever it is you do? Probably not.
And not only that but the dude has a sense of humor too. With only several lines, he was able to become one of the best parts of Dodgeball, even with an all-star comedy cast. Now he.s looking to take over that series like he took over the Tour de France. Moviehole picked up a story from Yahoo (which has since vanished... mysteriously) in which they claimed that Ben Stiller recently had a meeting with Armstrong to discuss a possible part in Dodgeball 2. Later on Armstrong seemed to confirm, at the least, that he was hanging out with

Buried in a story about the Tour de France at Yahoo Sport is the suggestion that Ben Stiller is attempting to sign Lance Armstrong up for "a proposed sequel to Dodgeball".Armstrong has a cameo in the original, in which he lays a guilt trip on Vince Vaughn that persuades him to get back on the court.Armstrong was late signing in for yesterday's racing, and cheerfully blamed Stiller. Yahoo's story claims that Dodgeball 2 will bear a strong cycling influence; that George Hincaple will replace Vince Vaughn; and that Jens Voigt will take Chuck Norris' role. This is presumably cycling humour. Ho ho, eh readers?
