Atom Egoyan (The Sweet Hereafter) directs the thriller about a celebrated comedy team (Kevin Bacon and Colin Firth, loosely inspired by Martin and Lewis) who broke up years before due to a scandal involving a beautiful woman found dead in their hotel suite, and an ambitious young journalist (Alison Lohman) who goes looking for the truth behind the mystery. As she collaborates on a memoir with one of them, she enters into a game of cat-and-mouse while she tries to sort through the half-truths. David Hayman, Rachel Blanchard and Maury Chaykin co-star and Egoyan scripts with songwriter and playwright Rupert Holmes. Also available in R-rated edition (see below).
