Don Cheadle (who also co-produced the film) stars as a frustrated cop having an affair with his partner (Jenifer Esposito) while trying to take care of his lost-it mother and find his carjacking brother (Larenz Tate), Matt Dillon (in an Oscar nominated role) is a bitter, racist beat cop, Ryan Phillippe his aghast, idealistic partner, Terrence Howard a frustrated director, Sandra Bullock an angry, screeching wife of an ambitious assistant DA (Brendan Fraser), and Thandie Newton, William Fichtner, Chris 'Ludacris' Bridges, Tony Danza, and Keith David co-star. Paul Haggis writes and directs.
